IRS villain Lois Lerner again REFUSES to testify about tea party targeting, risks arrest for contempt of Congress
Former IRS official Lois Lerner refused for a second time on Wednesday to testify about her role in a scheme to target conservative organizations that applied for tax-exempt status during President Barack Obama's first term in office. Lerner risks arrest if she is found in contempt of Congress.
The House Oversight and Government Affairs Committee ruled on June 21, 2013 that Lerner, formerly in charge of the IRS's Exempt Organizations office, waived her right to invoke the Fifth Amendment during a May 22 hearing when she insisted in a lengthy opening statement that she had done nothing wrong.
Wednesday's continuation of that hearing was a brief affair, with Oversight Committee Chairman Republican Rep. Darrell Issa adjourning it after Lerner cited the Fifth amendment again and refused to answer questions.

I can always HOPE, sure, but I realllllly do believe the rumors that the pubbies LIKE the IRS attacking the Tea Party.
My guess is they’ll let her skate TOTALLY.
Pubbies don’t want to owe the TP anything after the midterms —they do NOT want to win big enough to permit for the REAL change that they in fact fear.

Won’t work; any confession would then be thrown out as being coerced.

I’m quite sure the GOPe would be fine with losing the House and remaining a minority in the Senate if that’s what it takes to shed the TEA Party.

I didn’t say anything about confessions or finding her guilty of anything.
