World Nut Daily falling for Russian propaganda that all the opposition are neo-nazi’s. It is a ridiculous assertion that only neo-nazi’ oppose the partition of Ukraine or only the neo-nazi’s opposed the corrupt dictator.

That’s what I heard. Putin has his propaganda machine out in full force to gain support for his takeover of the Ukraine. WND has fallen for it.

I second what you said. RT News is beating the drum that the pro-Western Ukrainians are all ‘ultra-nationalists’ (as if most Russians are not) or ‘fascists’ which is a very emotional term for Russians and it’s typically used to describe ANYONE that the Russian government/media doesn’t like. For instance: Obama is being called a ‘fascist’ in the Russian media right now.

It’s also noteworthy that while the Russian language media is bashing on alleged ‘Nazis’ they’re also not missing a beat by bashing on Western Jews for ‘meddling’ in Ukraine.

Trivia: A couple English lanuguage Russian sites are referring to the pro-West Ukrainians as “EUkrainians” - which I find pretty clever!

Maybe you knee jerk ‘50’s Cold Warriors should take a look here:

Ukranian fascists are far more than a pale shadow of their pro-nazi WWII “freedom fighters” and Putin is not Stalin. I’m laying 10 to 1 that half of the readers here will turn “Putin is not Stalin” into “this guy is a paid agent of the FSB” Take yer ding dong blinders off and stop living in the past.

There is a small neo-Nazi group opposing Putin in Ukraine. However, we could also say Putin himself looks suspiciously like a National Socialist himself—he is nationalistic, thugish, has probably goose-stepped a time or two, uses the supposed oppression of Russian monority to occupy part of a sovereign nation's territory, is antisemitic, pro-Arab, and has an irredentist agenda. Maybe not a Hitler, but definitely Mussolini.
