Millions of dollars from the fortune of legendary investor Warren Buffett are going to pay for abortions, according to documents from Buffett’s charitable organization and abortion-providing groups.
Buffet, whose preternatural investing success has made him the fourth richest person in the world, is often described as folksy. But the Sage of Omaha is also a longtime population-control buff, and his foundation pours tens of millions of dollars into abortion-funding work every year. In 2011, his foundation gave more than $115 million to pro-choice groups, with a large portion of that going to groups that fund abortions rather than merely doing education or advocacy.
National Review Online previously reported on the growing presence of charities that help women pay for abortions. Groups like the Lilith Fund have drawn increasing national attention, thanks in part to the efforts of pro-choice celebrities like Zach Galifianakis and Sarah Silverman. Buffett is not widely known as an abortion advocate, but his contributions dwarf those of better-known members of the pro-choice movement.

Well, Buffett is a Democrat. For high profile Democrats every live birth is a failure of cosmic proportions.

Can you imagine one of our Founding Fathers sitting around talking about the best way to get rid of unborn babies? And then accruing the funds to make it happen?
A cool premise for a sci-fi film would involve potential abortion victims having the opportunity to travel back in time to slaughter their would-be murderers.

The two richest guys in my town, one a Republican who supports Senator Pat Toomey, the other a Democrat who supported ex-governor Ed Rendell and is now a candidate for governor himself, are lifelong supporters of Planned Parenthood.
That means that all this Pro-Life talk we’ve heard from Republican politicians is meaningless.
The GOP machine affiliated Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation hails a new abortion clinic regulation law in PA as something we should jump for joy over and vote for Republicans over.
I laugh, because the bill just puts the little guy abortion clinics out of business allowing the big abortion clinics of Planned Parenthood to stay in business.
Those abortion clinics of Planned Parenthood are supported by the same rich people who donate their dollars to the Republican politicians and political machine that passed the “regulation” bill to begin with.
Because of the influence of the rich campaign donors, we end up with “Pro-Life” legislation that is really “Pro-Abortion, Pro-Planned Parenthood” legislation.
A rich white guy paying to kill little dark babies? Who would have thunk it?
