"John is a friend, and a good man. He's earned considerable respect in the Senate. We have not agreed on everything, but we have agreed on the vast majority of issues. Together, we're a strong and effective team for Texas," Cruz wrote, later adding that he is "proud" to endorse Cornyn.

Sigh... People today really really piss me off. I know a lot of people running the gamut from young to old, liberal to conservative. Without asking everyone, I know maybe 4-5 who definitely voted. One high school guy who now works for Dem campaigns, 2 high school buddies who are big republican, and my mom is pretty active. That’s it.

The worst part about it is, is most people DIDN’T EVEN KNOW VOTING WAS HAPPENING. (Best way to word that?) Supposedly about 10% managed to vote in the primaries. From my experience, that number is rather high. Unfortunately.

A RINO will follow strong, popular conservative
leadership and pretend he was there from the
start. Those guys are useful for their votes.
Meanwhile, some moderate Democrat voters will be
attracted to that strong, popular conservative.
Regular Democrats will continue to be the turds
they were born to be.

Remember a guy named Reagan?

About 13.3% out of 13.6 million registered voters made the effort to vote in the primaries.
About 3.7% in the Dems and 9.6% in the GOP.

“My greatest fear is that Obama will still get the chance to nominate enough liberals to turn the 5-4 Supreme Court into 5-4, or even 6-3, the other way, in which case we are all screwed.”

No where is it etched in stone that SCOTUS is limited to 9 Justices. IF The Stain gets a couple more of his Comrades on the Court, President Mattis can always expand the court to negate that crap.

Ted Cruz refuses to endorse fellow Sen. John Cornyn in GOP primary

While Cornyn actually campaigned for Cruz, when he needed help.

The picture is from the article at the link above.

‘There is no question that Romney would have been a better President than Obama, but I do question whether, in the end, Romney would have been better for the Republican future than Obama.”

This is beyond delusional — “let’s burn the village to save it” attitude, Or “communism was great for the E European countries.

Being the Statist that Romney is, he would be marginally better than The Stain, no question.

Marginally would be a big improvement, what we have now is a non-stoppable. evil nightmare.

I understand why he did this, but it don’t mean I support it, and it don’t mean I’d vote for Cornyn if I lived in his area.

I ain’t a party man no more.

“what we have now is a non-stoppable. evil nightmare.”

I disagree. Obama is stoppable. IF Congress would take 5 minutes to remember their primary function. Failing that, then the Military is fully authorized to step up.

If the Military isn’t willing, then WE THE PEOPLE retain that OBLIGATION.

Hopelessness is for LOSERS and VICTIMS.

I refuse to belong to either category.

Why oh why would you endorse a guy who stabbed you in the back? Come on Ted, really?

Oh your right. It is tough having principles and sticking with them. Some of you guys would vote for Obama if he had an “R” after his name and don’t lie and say you wouldn’t.

Truth

Unfortunate. One doesn’t have to endorse a RINO just because he/she won a primary.

Learn from Karl Rove and other Republicans who did not support Conservatives who won their primary.

“Ooops! Big setback for the keyboard warriors here who have no clue about how politics works. The same dumbasses who refused to vote for Romney and gave us 4 more yeras of obamanation.”

Bingo.

If Romney had been even marginally electable, you two might have a point.

But sadly he wasn't.

He'd have to actually had some conservative principles to be electable, which he did not and does not have.

He noted that even without an endorsement, he did donate to Cornyn’s campaign.
That was last May, when his political action committee sent a $2,500 check.

And Cornyn had lots of money to spend. I won’t comment further. I don’t feel like fighting anymore.

Endorsing Cornyn after he won is one thing. Sending him money to spend against better men is another.

You are right on!!! Cornyn won his primary by a large margin. He is the candidate, and he will win big in November, 2014. I believe that every Republican, Tea Party member, Conservative, Independent, Conservative Democrats, etc. should turn out and vote for him, Ya all had a chance to defeat John Cornyn, but offered up flawed or weak candidates to oppose him.

This staying home jazz and not voting for the lessor evil is pure hogwash. I have little regard or agreement with John Cornyn in most cases....but he is ten times better than any Democrat that breathes. Our country is being destroyed by POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and his Obamabots Democrats. We have one great chance and opportunity to destroy the Democrat Party politically come this November.......let’s make sure we make the most of it....by garnering & getting every vote we can for our side. No one is perfect!!!

Of course. Because the Dems want nothing more than to maintain Cornyn’s seniority instead of sending a freshman Republican to Washington.

“Of course. Because the Dems want nothing more than to maintain Cornyn’s seniority instead of sending a freshman Republican to Washington.”

I understand and appreciate your sarcasm. Keep in mind, that John Wayne McCornyn has been more help to the RATs in the Senate than our “Freshman” Senator TED CRUZ has been, or has that little fact been lost on you? I believe that they would prefer the known “quantity” as opposed to risking another hard core Conservative to have to fight against.

Besides, I was only expressing my opinion. No one says that anybody has to agree with it.
