Texas-Takes-Stand
Just because one part of the country has seemingly lost its mind and is willing to give up their freedom for the promise of more security doesnt mean everyone is on board.
In Texas, where voters took to the polls Tuesday night, a completely different set of ideas is at play. And if nationwide sentiment is any indication, other conservative and libertarian leaning states will soon follow.
Though only about half of the votes have been tallied so far, the people of Texas have spoken. Its a roar, in fact. Voters are standing in unison and have overwhelmingly approved a variety of propositions that may well send shivers down the spines of supporters of things like universal health care, rampant welfare dependency, special privileges and gun rights.
The following results speak for themselves.
First on the chopping block is the Patient Affordable Care Act, more commonly known as Obamacare. Apparently, 93% of Texans dont take well to having the federal government mandate what they should or shouldnt buy with the penalty for non-compliance being IRS harassment and prison time:

WOW. No the Libs can make up their own polls like they did starting with the Clintons.
The the answers were still startling.
Similar percentages also wanted liberty to express religious ideas in public, to expand locations where concealed carry is permitted and to require that laws apply equally to citizen and to elected officials and staffs.
Yes. On the 'Rat ballot, amnesty won big. But these questions do give some guidance to their party's elected officials.
Exactly.
Interesting, but coming only from Republican primary voters and non-binding.
We could wish that this were representative of the entire populace, but it is not.
The other 10 % that voted against it were probably the recipients
1.2 million voted for Abbott as the Republican candidate for governor.
Only 420,000 voted for abortion Barbie to be the democRAT candidate.
That is with 100% polls reporting.
The U-2 has been replaced by drones that can fly just as high and loiter for over 24 hours. But I wonder what they propose replacing the AH-64 with.
Never mind, wrong thread.
You have to be kidding. There was an amnesty question on the Rat ticket? I’m sure they also wanted “abortion on demand, regardless of ability to pay” (paid by US.)
Every day, call two congressmen at radom - one a Republican and one a Democrat - and tell them to REPEAL OBAMACARE!!!!!
The damn thing CAN’T be fixed!! If the GOP is STUPID enough to TRY, THEY will be tarred with the same brush as the Democrats over this monstrosity.
Not just Texas voters.
The ‘Rats had others for a “living wage”, Medicaid expansion, and “non-discrimination” legislation for sexual orientation/gender identity. All passed overwhelmingly.
The results in the link are just for central Texas
I do think they will be mirrored when all the state is in BUT there will vbe pockets of libs( Dallas GHouston Austin San Antonio) that will vote against these reasonable propositions
all the welfare kings and queens will not want to be drug teste
those were the choices on the Republican side of the vote.
Dems had expand medicaid and a living wage and a couple other BS neo-Marxist props.
or live in Austin....
>!The other 10 % that voted against it were probably the recipients
or live in Austin....
probably the politician’s families at that...: )
We are going to vote every traitor out of office and if they win we will know to start investigating the electronic voting machines and prove them to have been manipulated which they will most likely have been. I feel pretty confident that this will turn out to be the case when an unbiased third party audits the count.
