Reminder to Republicans--You don't win on this issue until you deprive the Left of the "Republicans have no clear alternative" talking point. I have no idea what you're waiting for, but I promise you that the lack of a concise, specific, user-friendly, agreed-upon Obamacare alternative will hurt you big time come 2016.

Wake up, GOP. Yet again.

Is there any political party more lifeless than the current GOPe? If they ever get fired from Congress, they should be employed demonstrating Tempurpedic mattresses.

Last October, Obama vindictively shut down the federal government upon his having refused to delay ObamaCare, which of course is exactly what he himself lawlessly did on February 10, 2014!

Wake up gOp! You're worse than useless!

The GOP doesn't have to present an alternative version of universal healthcare (Obamacare.) The Dems will tear it apart and the focus will shift to the proposed Rep version rather than Obamacare.

Developing an alternative will require bipartisan support and a lengthy, rigorous debate through the legislative process--not ramming it down the throat of the American people. I doubt there is a GOP consensus on an alternative save some basic principles.

The Dems are the ones demanding the alternative. The Reps shouldn't fall for it.

Realistically, there are only 2 things they can do.

1) Impeach him
2) Shut off the money (which will shut down the government)

The media has them deathly afraid to go near either one.

I think the reason for the GOP leadership’s inexplicable lack of effective opposition to Obamacare is that the corporatist donor base has told them they are transitioning out of the employee healthcare business. And the corporatists insist the government provide cover for this. So the GOP establishment apparently believes the win-win strategy is token opposition to ACA while permitting its continuing implementation.

A TV newscaster pointed out that in spite of 50 HOR votes against Obamacare, the only changes have been the ones by Obama.

The only change that would've mattered would have been to defund it. Only conclusion....the 'pubs still want Obamacare, but in a form in which their cronies profit.
