Unfortunately, John Cornyn got through the primary. Taking him out was a long shot but we made him spend $6 million of his $8 million war chest. Incumbents love to run unopposed and keep that.
The next big fight is North Carolina. The Establishment has been pushing Thom Tillis while the Tea Party has gotten behind Greg Brannon.
The dirty games have already started to tarnish Brannon since he was recently sued and found guilty of misleading investors (while his partner remained unscathed for the same charge).
This is the game they play to get their guys elected.
We just have to force a runoff in North Carolina. The primary is May 6th. So let's get to work getting behind Greg Brannon for Senate!
Was Cornyn’s opponent that strong? From the margins it appeared that Stockman didn’t run a very good campaign.
We should never forget that battles can be fought and lost, but victors can come out damaged. Churchill knew this when he fought a losing battle in Norway. Although GB lost, the cost to the Nazi's was a severely damage Navy which could not muster enough ships for an amphibious landing on the British isles. How long before donors to these elitist "tire" over spending money on primary election. I suspect this is happening already.
To be brutally honest, I was very disappointed that Rep. Louie Gohmert did not choose to oppose John Wayne McCornyn. I ended up voting for DWAYNE STOVALL who finished a distant 3rd place in the Primary.
At this point I have to say that I will be extremely hard pressed to vote “for” McCornyn in the coming November election. How can I justify voting “for” someone that has demonstrated that they are deaf to the Will of The People and support the Obama Regime covertly? I just can’t see it.

When they donate 8 million and see that he has to spend 6 million, just to win a primary against a field of weak republicans, they’ll come to the conclusion that these types are not worth funding anymore. At least, that’s my hope.
Nailed it.
Stockman ran a pathetic campaign. He was nowhere to be found. DWAYNE STOVALL clearly did NOT have the resources to mount a serious campaign against McCornyn.
As stated in a previous post, I am going to find it extremely difficult to vote “for” John Wayne McCornyn in the November election. I just can’t bring myself to hold my nose for yet another RINO again.

Don’t feel bad about that. I caught lots of hell here on FR because I refused to vote for Scott Brown a second time because of his treachery. Thousands like me apparently felt the same and now he’s out of power.
We don’t need to vote for people just because they have an “r” next to their names. These moderate types love democrats and independents so much, let them struggle in November to get their votes. Because OUR votes are not a sure thing anymore. At least, that’s how I feel.
Concur. Press on!
I personally think crowded races are always an advantage for incumbents. Its one of the reasons I feel confident about our upcoming races in Michigan. We’ve got mostly solid candidates who aren’t taking fire from the rear. Plus there is no good reason for democrats to try to cross lines to manipulate the races.
Thank you for your wise words.
Maybe there will be a suitable 3rd party candidate that I can vote for.

The Lt. Governor in Texas sets the legislative agenda.
Dewhurst has blocked many conservative legislative proposals.
We are much closer to open carry in Texas if Dewhurst is kept out in the run-off.

Well Scott Brown wants us to be “more inclusive” of abortion and gay marriage supporters.
Might as well vote democrat.
Hey, the judge who convicted Brannon was endorsed by.... PROGRESS NORTH CAROLINA. Can you say rigged?
We have a much better shot here. Let’s work hard to win it.
“People don’t realize how big the Dewhurst loss last night was.
The Lt. Governor in Texas sets the legislative agenda.”
That’s good to know. May 27th should be interesting!
“Well Scott Brown wants us to be more inclusive of abortion and gay marriage supporters.

Exactly! But I won’t vote for a democrat. So I did the next best thing, left his office blank on my ballot. And now, Scott Brown couldn’t get elected dog catcher here. He’s moved to New Hampshire to try to get back into the senate there. And they can have him!
Cornyn spent tons of $$$ promoting himself as a super conservative who fought ObamaCare.
Yes, the Dewhurst stomping is the silver lining in an otherwise gloomy outcome.
I still have a huge disdain for Dan Patrick and the way that he treated TED CRUZ. That just infuriated me when it happened and that hasn’t changed.
Howee66 I know how you feel...but remember, a no vote is a vote for the democrat in November. As much as it creates a horrible taste in my mouth, I will vote for Cornyn in November. We just need to keep him overwhelmed with phone calls, letters, etc. so he will remember we are still out here.
