Beltway folk hold silly notions. Hillary is deemed formidable, and Republicans should hope she does not win the Democrat nomination in 2016. I disagree. Hillary is a weak candidate for president, and if she is nominated, she will lose the general election.
Consider four aspects of a Hillary candidacy in the general election: (1) foreign policy, (2) domestic policy, (3) candidate appeal.
The sole executive experience of Hillary in her life has been as Obamas secretary of state. During those years, she did nothing but more than leave a dreadful legacy for America. In 2016, it is certain that American foreign policy will be seen almost universally as a huge failure: Russian aggression in Ukraine, Syrian civil war, Iranian nuclear weapons, rogue and dangerous North Korea, Benghazi and the cover-up of that scandal, unstable Egypt, lost victories in Afghanistan and Iraq, the looming calamity of European national sovereign debt defaults
and so on....

The Republican candidate will not say anything unkind about Hillary. He or she will probably till the voters she is an honorable person.
Florida: 73,858
Ohio: 103,481
Virginia: 115,910
Colorado: 113,099
Those four states, with a collective margin of 406,348 votes for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.
Well, it's obvious you have a lot of time invested in reading about this consent decree and some the numbers of the 2012 election....but you are missing what really tipped against Romney and why.
Romney is a fraud. The reason put forth to vote for him was that he was the lesser of two evils, but this is not true. He was believed to be the greater of two evils by enough voters that it cost him and the lame GOP the election.
The final demographic analyses all point to the Perot bloc of voters that chose to not vote for Romney. This bloc of voters numbers more that six million strong. They will vote en masse for Ted Cruz but not a fraud like Romney.
The error Romney made was in assuming those blue collar conservative Perot bloc voters were in his column as a result of putting the false and mediocre Paul Ryan as a Tea Party conservative on the ticket with him. Not many were fooled.
Yes, voting fraud is a problem but a consent decree barring the RNC nationally does not stop the legions of concerned citizens from scrubbing down the voter rolls nor stop Secretaries of States and state prosecutors from enforcing the integrity of the voting process.
The bigger problem is getting rid of the frauds who occupy the senior GOP leadership.
The Left Wing Faithful consider Hillary much as they regard Obama—reality does not intrude upon their evaluation of her.
I agree that Hillary is a weak candidate, but so was Obama, in both elections he won. If the GOP again induces the base to stay home by nominating a middle of the road socialist then even a weak Hillary can win. Forty percent of the public will vote Democrat even if Satan is their candidate. Their get-out-the-vote and fraud machinery is second to none. Their control over all aspects of government like the IRS, the FBI and Justice are powerful coercive weapons against any challenger. Then theres the media. The democrats could run a corpse and wed never hear the slightest suspicion as the media would cover it up. So dont rule out Hillary or even Satan. They could share the ticket, though Satan would have to accept the VP slot.
She’s female. That’s all that will matter to the same set of people who voted for Obama because of his skin color.
But she is a WOMAN! GEESH don’t you know anything?
Kerry and Biden have dreamed of the Presidency. Don’t think for a second that they won’t run. The Dem Primary should be a real slugfest. Hope they don’t take all the headlines from Cruz. I, also, hope the GOP-e doesn’t drag out our primary like 2012. Hopefully the hasbeens from 2012 won’t run again.
If they prop up a dead democrat in a coffin they would win.
My theory is that in 2016, the media will once again select the candidate from both parties.
Reagan was the last President picked by the voter, IMHO.
And since the economy is going to tank big time, the media will select a Republican (think RINO like Christie) to take the blame for ObamaCare and rampant spending.
So Hillary could very well be the Dem candidate the media picks. But only because she will be easy for the media to discredit, giving us Chris Christie as the President who oversees the economic collapse that Obama and Congress has given us.
(end of conspiracy theory rant)
Voter fraud must be addressed before the fall, and 2016. I have no doubt that this is the reason Obama “won” a second term.
“The obvious wild-card is her health. If she is unable, the Dems will try a third term, or push Michelle in. They can win, as always, with the LIV, who is America.”
I don’t know if Hillary has health issues or not. But, she definitely appears lothorgic and unenthused. I’m doubting that she has the juice to make a run.
Charmer... hmmmmmm...
Yes, most definitely!
Four reasons why she will win if she runs 1) low info voters 2) voter fraud 3) “It’s TIME for a woman president” 4) the msm will eviscerate any opponents in order for #3 to happen
It takes a village......
By focusing on the dying village, all images beyond will be blurry and out of focus. Giving the villagers more than they need or can provide themselves will be her strategy.
Some strange hormone to rejuvenate and morph the old deficient and rejected obamadon’tcare into the new shiny Hillarydoescare will be extracted from dead democrat formula book. Women that buy the superhydrating serum of Oil of Olay will continue to be duped by the marketing campaigns.
Truth will be overcome by fantasy
"And then, ya know, there was 'pow-pow-pow' everywhere and I was all like Rambo' an' stuff..."
She’s female and all it would take is for Hillary to shed a few tears again and play the victim and she is in.
But I too believe that Hillary won’t get the democrat nomination. However the democrats will try to find another to become the first female president.
I don’t think Moochelle wants to run, but Oprah just might.
You can’t seriously believe experience is a concern to liberals. These are the same people who elected barack obamateur not once but twice. And his resume is thinner than boarding-house soup.
If Hillary courts the fags, the dykes, the econazis, the welfare parasites, and the Occupy crybaby crowd — which she will — she will no doubt win the commun ... er, I mean Democratic ... nomination. And those nut groups are the same ones that stuck us with the bungler-in-chief we have today.
Experience? Get real!
The defeatist attitude here is frightening. We’re still almost two years away from the first ballots being cast in Iowa and New Hampshire and many of you act as though the next eight years after Obama are a done deal with Hillary. Of course the obstacles for winning the presidency are formidable. A conservative candidate has to deal with low information voters, the Democrat political machine, the lefty media, and of course the establishment RINOS. All huge impediments to be sure but have confidence that we can overcome all of this. The last few elections were no-brainers with establishment RINOS as the nominee and the results were predictable. We have not run a true conservative since Reagan and so right now the American voter sees no difference between a liberal and a RINO. This country is starving for leadership. I honestly believe that if the braindead GOP ran an honest conservative who was able to articulate ideas and hammer those points home with the American people that person can defeat Hillary, Uncle Joe, etc. This country wants a leader. Even the low info types can feel something isn’t quite right with the country. Just believe folks. This pessimism does nothing for any of us.
Not sure it appears the hot air sells now days remember Obama was elected twice most of the public are to stupid and lazy to look at facts before they vote.
