This is only going to prompt Cornyn and the rest of the GOPe to double down against the Tea Party.

That Texas couldn't find a second Cruz is troubling.

Cornyn is a NoGoodnik.

I thought TX wanted change? By voting for Cornball, Patrick and Bush, we are just handing it over to the Dems.

Stockman, I’m not sure what the hell you were doing here, but you have hurt our cause. Your campaign was a non-existent joke, and this win will only embolden Cornyn to become more of a RINO. You’ve given up a House seat to someone who is less conservative than yourself. If this was about paying off debts, I hope you enjoyed defrauding people.

Guys, bad weather is not going to help us. You want to win in races like Mississippi and Kentucky, this crap is not going to cut it.

This article was written before the First person voted in Texas on March 4, as an attempt to reduce the turnout.

I don’t know what the definition of “crush” is, but let’s see the results tonite.

If Stockman gets 20% of the vote with his level of spending, the GOP rinos should be quaking.

We’re going to have to do better than people like Stockman if we’re ever going to get rid of the RINOs.

This is how the media spins it.

But professional politicians see: “Cornyn Barely Avoids Runoff By Skin Of His Teeth”.

Still trolling for the GOP-E? With a little over 25% of the vote in, Cornyn is barely holding on to 60%.

Jim should have zotted you the other day when he told you to KMA.

And if Cornyn does win the primary, I will vote for a non-liberal 3rd party candidate.

Very disappointed that the TEA Party didn’t come up with at least one strong contender for Cornyn’s seat. But he’s been bragging in his TV ads that he’s been fighting Obama...a lie, of course... and people who aren’t paying attention actually believed him.

I thought conservatives were about personal responsibility?

Running merely as a Tea Party candidate and calling the establishment RINOs isn't going to win elections. You've got to sell your message to the voters and be passionate about it.

Although I despise Rove, I understand the premise of his message in that Republican candidates got to understand the issues.

I dont see the results changing. It might be that Crony wins by about 55% and that depends on how many of the counties reporting are high volume. As I looked at the county by county results, it does not look good.
I believe that the GOP-e got behind Crony because they think Mitch is a gonner in KY. That will leave Crony as the senate leader for the elites in DC. At least they think that way.
Right now, I do not see the senate changing hands and might even loose the House. Long way to go until Nov. We need to flip the senate. Get more like Cruz in. Even 9 or ten would do it, they can gum up the works real good in that chamber.

Getting only 57% of the vote is not a great sign of strength for an incumbent.
