I remember their catalog that was probably 3/4" thick. "Realistic", "Archer", and I don't know what other brands.

Come to think of it, I don't remember them advertising much last Christmas. Maybe the advertised stuff was just unmemorable junk easily available at Big Lots next door to the one in my area.

Remember the Powerhouse 5 flashlight and the battery cards.
Used to love going there as a kid and getting a free D-cell battery every month.

When I was in college I built a little headphones/amplifier for practicing my guitar in quiet. I not only bought all the parts at RS, but the guy in the store knew exactly how to do it.

I went to a local RS recently to find a standard fuse. They didn't have it and didn't know where to get it. Today's RS is more like a electonics gadget booth in a mall.
