I would go with Gohmert before Gowdy. But, that’s just me. I prefer a TEXAN that’s also a Vet.
I think I agree, but Gowdy is one of the most persuasive members of that body. Gohmert, on the other hand, might have had this in mind when he chose not to oppose Cornyn, either that or he judged Cornyn to be unbeatable. (I voted early for Stovall).
