The Department of Justice (DOJ) is preparing to announce an expansion of background checks based on executive orders president Obama issued in January 2013.
According to The Hill, the expansion consists of "three changes to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)."

Ummm..would somebody please inform the Congress, the Supreme Court, NSA, IRS, a host of others...and, of course, zero of that? He changes laws, re-writes laws, dictates laws, decides which laws to enforce and not to enforce without so much as a whimper by any of the above.... Well, to be fair and generous about it, (thank you), with few enough exceptions that you could count them on your fingers they are ALL whores after some political fashion or another, and he's got the goods on every f'n one of them.

It is true that we are all culpable(myself included)...though it’s going a take a TRUE miracle to get this ship turned around. Nevertheless....if you plan on surviving these soon to come “dark days”, then you must reach inside and FIND the warrior in you.

I don’t think the NRA “quit” NY and CT. Those two states simply suicided. It is a waste of funds to throw good money after bad, trying to fight against illegal tactics employed by the governors of both “states”.
