A film is shot on film. Everything else today is a photoshopped video.
The editing is totally different. The consideration when they frame a shot is different. And on set, the cast knows that it is more expensive if they don’t get it right in a reasonable number of takes.
A movie isn’t “epic” because it runs 3 hours. The tale ITSELF must be epic in scope and told in a manner that has an arc.
LOL, There are other uses of the word “film” than whether it was shot on film.
And I believe my meaning clearly indicated the quality of the storytelling.
