Connecticut Police to Begin Door-to-Door Gun Confiscations
VisiontoAmerica ^ | March 1, 2014 | unknown

The State of Connecticut says that all citizens must register rifles and high capacity magazines, or be charged will a felony. As many as 100,000 people could face heavily armed police smashing down their doors and be charged with a felony.

The legislature of CT says that a registration is needed so they can know where the guns are. Yet at the same time, they are sending threatening letters to gun owners. So they already have records of who has purchased certain guns. The fact is, that the CT legislature fully intends to confiscate hundreds of thousands of firearms anyway......

The first city in America, NOLA, after Katrina experienced gun confiscations without a shot fired. Now the first state, CT, most likely with no shots fired.

It’s all a warmup to the national level registration and confiscation most likely with no shots fired.

This is in preparation for the global, collectivist dictator, ummm, messiah since only messiahs being gods and all, can be the only ones who have the power of life and death at their disposal.

The American and Euro 1% are the biggest promoters of gun control.

Well that and there are not enough SWAT to go door to door to 50,000 homes in 10 years. The whole thing is a P poor idea. But that is likely what they have in mind.

IMO, Sandy Hook was merely a cog in this gun confiscation mess. Do a search for the fire chief and school secretary’s son (he’s a Junior) and you’ll find he’s a FEMA emergency management drill instructor. The secretary and nurse claimed to have been hiding in the office closet for over 4 after the building had been declared cleared by LE and where LE was staging.

Months before, the freaky coroner just happened to have help facilitate a bill that autopsies of minors would not be open to the public.

Good time to open up a "U-Store It" storage center right across the state line in Rhode Island.

Actually, have a trusted friend rent the locker and you do the same for them. Harder to track. Not much chance of gun confiscaton for now in AZ but just the same about 1/3 of my guns live with various family members and over half the guns in my safes don't actually belong to me. Unless they decide to sweep up the entire family they may get some but they won't get all.

8” diameter PVC pipe with dessicant makes a good storage vessel. Bury it.

Eff the connecticut gun grabbing scumbags.

I have heard through the grape vine that there are plans to take out ONE SWAT officer per act of illegal gun confiscation. Do you think they have enough swat members to continue the gun grabbing very long?

Neighbors need to talk to neighbors and make it clear to each other that “hey, I have no extraneous reasons for statists to beat down my door, and you don’t, so we each know what’s going down if the other has an entry team hammering in their door...”

You're on to something. If the neighbors make arrangements with each other beforehand the one being invaded could telephone the others and the police low-lifes could conceivably be dealing with counter-attacks on all their flanks. That's the way to fight back effectively.

Worked for me in CA. Planted 2 in the Mendocino National Forrest with 2 AKs and a lot of 7.62x39. Still have some of the ammo. Works fine. Sold the AKs last year for about 3 times what I paid for them.

One word of warning: I was a fairly robust 40 when I buried them and a slightly arthritic and obese 55 when I went to dig them up. Consider renting a backhoe on excavation day.

Smart.

We live in an age where truth really has become stranger than fiction.

a decade or two ago, if someone had written a serious novel about a president getting away with acting unlawfully as Obama has, it would have been rejected by publishers as too far fetched and not plausible.

I would hope and pray that one good battle may have a sobering effect on the law enforcement community....

We should form "LOCAL" clubs and organizations...

We should make efforts though those organizations to get to KNOW the local policeman and how he (they) stand in the matter of individual rights.... We should make it understood that not only will he be putting his OWN self at risk but ALL that he holds dear.... Just like us....

The way it works now, they come to your house, bust down your door, shoot the family dog, slap the wife around a little then beat hell out of you and take your guns...or whatever....After that, their day is over... They go home, drink some beers and watch TV just like the rest of us....

But...If the Law Enforcement community insist declaring "war" on the American people and our Constitution they MUST be made to realize that WAR is a 24 hour a day job.... It will likely be THEM that will live in encampments in order to protect what is theirs and what THEY hold dear.... I truly hope and pray that there are more Americans in their ranks then "commies"....

A little one-on-one communication may help them to see the error in their ways.......

Well...its my two cents....sorry for the rant....

Good point. There was a provision in the original law that required the government to delete the records immediately after the purchase. I was always suspicious of that and it was discovered that they were cheating on this provision and people complained. I was still suspicious.

Apparently, they don’t pretend to do this anymore. So, it is very likely that there is some record somewhere (for recent purchases).

As for guns purchased before the age of the mass data storage on computers, someone would have to transcribe the records from paper form to electronic. If those records even exist any more.

Just a guess but firearms purchased before 2000, maybe 1995 would be less likely to have any electronic records. There may still be a paper record somewhere, though. Down in the dark basement of a government building.

This is all speculation, though.

This was the info I was posting from:

"A spokesperson with the Special Licensing and Firearms Unit of the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection told TheBlaze that a letter has been drafted to send to gun owners who are found to be in possession of unregistered semi-automatic rifles deemed illegal by the state’s new gun control law. However, “not a one” letter has been sent out so far."

I know that, I was luring for more info. I have been tracking the corrupt government since the end of the cold war. I realize everyone has their own opinions and ideas of freedom but when you can no longer live free under the greatest document ever written it is over.

The State only knows that a "long gun" was bought - the model and S/N reside only with the Gun Store, they are required to keep those records for ten years.

The only way the State can know who bought what is by getting a court order to go into the on-site records of the individual gun shops - as soon as that happen air-raid sirens go off and the Patriots know the Red Coats are on the way.

BUT - they have no way of knowing if you still have possession of that rifle - no paperwork required to sell or trade a long gun. And 99% of those that didn't register is because "they no longer have those rifles".

“...over half the guns in my safes don’t actually belong to me.”

That seems like a good model, how would you explain this to an LEO, if required to do so w/o violence?

"...how would you explain..."

I don't know.
The quotation marks indicate what I was commenting on - "inabunkerunderSF" (Post 226) was the author.
