Americans should focus their ire on Russian President Vladimir Putin and not offer partisan attacks on President Barack Obama, Rep. Chris Van Hollen said Sunday.
"Were 48 hours from an international crisis, I would hope Americans would focus on condemning the actions of Putin rather than in a knee-jerk way, again, criticizing the president of the United States," the Maryland Democrat said on Fox News Sunday.
Van Hollen appeared on the program after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) blasted Obama for being outmaneuvered...

When the proximate cause of the “international crisis” that is 48 hours away is having a weak, foolish and ineffective rookie as the American President, the focus should surely be on the actions (or lack of actions) of that weak, foolish and ineffective rookie.
Obama is clearly out of his league, and this crisis (not to mention all the others) is the unavoidable consequence of elevating him to a position for which he was manifestly unqualified and expecting him to get remedial on-the-job training. Clearly, even after years in the job he’s not yet ready for prime time.
So, in the absence of leadership from Obama, who is the current leader of the Free World? Angela Merkel?

We’re facing this situation because (1) our foreign policy is in shambles and (2) we are widely perceived as weak.
As president, Obama is responsible for this neglect and incompetence.
The Dems must really be worried about this foreign policy disaster (in tandem with the Obamacare disaster) in the face of upcoming elections.
Putin must be think you are out of the loop stupid.
I would like to believe that next time we’ll learn something from the Obama “experience” and vote in someone with a qualified background and gravitas to be president, but I’m not at all sanguine about it.
I'd like to be happy about the awakening. But there is a cost to such weakness as the pig has shown.
I’d like to think so but the last two POTUS elections have soured my confidence in the voting population. The “gibsmedat” and “ain’t in cool, man” crowds came out in force for the TFG......I’m not sure what they’ll do for Hillary if she runs.
I would say that I hope Biden get the Donk’ nod.....but I’m afraid the voters of this country might just elect him once they did.
Van Hollen seems to be the Democrats “go to guy” everytime they screw something up. He’s kind of like the guy who follows the horses in the parade carrying a bucket and a shovel.
Its goint to take a lot of fear and pain to wake up the sheeple. Unfortunately, I think we’re a long way from the trun around. IMO things are going to get a lot worse before they get any better. Just trying to keep it real.
Unfortunately, when it comes to international crisis management, there is no grading on a curve for affirmative action.
Ok,Van Hollen, I’m focusing on Putin. Now what?
Get out the popcorn and watch the slaughter?
Focused Leader....Putin!!! Focused Girly Boy....Obama!!! Great photos!!!
Yeeaah, he can get both his toes behind his ears, now...................
We are focusing on both morons - Putin and Oblamo. Both are troublesome and both are causing worries.
Has anyone researched why this guy might have said about George Bush’s interventions?
