Sounds like you are having weird weather, too. We are having another heat wave, but with freezing at night.

At least over the weekend I don’t have to do any driving until the temps rise and the ice melts.

This is the favorite song of my beginner guitar students.
It features FIVE chords, including a very prominent “Double Dominant” which steers the Beautiful Melody into a new direction, as it usurps the place of the vi minor chord, which was the norm in rock and pop music. The Beatles also do this in “Eight Days a Week”, another favorite of my young guitar players.

You haven’t LIVED until you have heard a 7 year old girl sing this song, while accompanying herself on her pink “Daisy Rock” guitar.

My Prayer is that they stay that sweet forever, and not follow Marianne’s path! :-)
