Private businesses should have the right to hire or fire whoever they want for whatever reason they want. They should also have the right to refuse business to anyone for any reason. The further we move back toward that simple standard, the better off we’ll be. Just look at the absolute mess created by the civil rights, aka grievance, industry. The constant meddling cannot stop so long as people look to government as some great fairness arbitrator.

I agree 100%—ANY business has the right to refuse service.

My point IS, the critics won’t utter a PEEP when a MOSLEM business owner refuses service to a Christian based on religious beliefs.

Refuse a sodomite? Hell to pay.
Refuse a Christian? Crickets.

I think that falls squarely within the founding principle of Pursuit of Happiness.

Anything to the contrary is a direct violation of the first amendment.
