SURREAL: Citizens Told They Have “One Last Chance” to Register Guns
Capitalism Institute ^ | February 2014

If you have ever had a conversation with a die-hard liberal about the Second Amendment, chances are you have probably been called “paranoid” a time or two (…or fifty).

“What are you talking about? The government is not going to take your guns; I don’t know what you’re so worried about,” I can recall from a particular conversation. “Seriously, you’re just paranoid!”

If having the foresight to recognize that gun registration is not only wildly unconstitutional, but also a convenient means by which the government could use to eventually confiscate firearms makes me “paranoid,” then so be it. However, contrary to the liberal narrative, juvenile insults don’t actually alter reality.

As you know, there is a massive display of civil disobedience happening in Connecticut right now. Over 90% of the gun owners in the Constitution State have refused to comply with new anti-gun regulations; these laws require that all “assault weapons” and high-capacity magazines (over ten rounds) be registered as of January 1 of this year.

The state estimated that there are about 372,000 “assault weapons” and over two million “high-capacity” magazines within the state. But when the numbers came in, only about 50,000 “assault weapons” had been registered as well as 38,000 “high-capacity” magazines.

In other words, only about 3.7% of the “scary weaponry” within Connecticut has been registered with the government… meaning that 96.3% of innocent gun owners were considered felons overnight. (Of course, this did not phase them as they are continuing to ignore the so-called law.)

The bureaucrats bent on control didn’t like this so much, you can imagine. They are responding by sending another wave of letters to gun owners giving them “one more chance” to register their weapons with the government.

According to a local newspaper, the Journal Inquirer:

The state now holds signed and notarized letters saying those late applicants own rifles and magazines illegally.

But rather than turn that information over to prosecutors, state officials are giving the gun owners a chance to get rid of the weapons and magazines.

Stated differently, rather than immediately taking hundreds of thousands of gun owners to court over their shiny, new “felony,” the oh-so-benevolent overlords of Connecticut are “graciously” giving them another chance to comply — or else.

Here’s a copy of the letter gun owners allegedly received after having “missed” the January 1 deadline, courtesy of Guns Save Lives:

So, let’s get this straight… Residents in Connecticut have the choice of: 1.Complying with blatantly unconstitutional law by threat of government force; 2.Selling their weapon to a government-approved dealer; 3.Destroying their own guns or magazines; 4.Letting someone in a more pro-gun state hold them; or 5.Giving it directly to the police.

Talk about “land of the free”!

Time will tell what happens when gun owners continue to ignore this unconstitutional law and you can guarantee we will keep you posted. In the meantime, help spread the word by sharing this article on Facebook and Twitter.

The instant back ground check info isn’t kept by the FBI or any federal database...

Well we do know background checks are done by telephone and the NSA records all telephone calls.

If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about. Right???

By the way. Doctors are now asking about firearms ownership.

by the way. Obamacare requires all medical records are now kept in a federal database.

Nothing to see here. LOOK, Miley Cyrus is twerking.

If anyone thinks the political hacks, feral cops, and media Quislings will back off, you are wrong. They will try to use force and intimidation. Innocent people — gun owners and non-owners will die — and then it will be time to start actively hunting the hunters and terminate with extreme prejudice. These tyrants will not see the light until they start suffering like their victims and take the Big Dirt Nap.

The individual whose signature graces the warning letter should be found in an alley, shot. Those who GIVE THE ORDERS must be the first removed.

These little tyrants get all huffy when their edicts are not followed by the people. These little tyrants need to be found hanging from lampposts, upside down, like Mussolini.

Of course, this did not phase them as they are continuing to ignore the so-called law.

Sure glad they aren't being "phased" by it - all the flickering might cause some folks to have epileptic episodes....

CT still has done nothing about people who did not register their guns at all.

Give them time...

You Have to Hear What This Connecticut Police Lieutenant Told a Caller About Gun Confiscation
February 27 2014

First off, we haven’t 100% authenticated this call yet, but given the media coverage it’s gotten and the fact that we know there is a Lt. by the name mentioned in the video with the CT State Police we thought we’d go ahead and share it for discussion. Just to reiterate, we have not verified the authenticity of the call and do not have the identity of the caller.

Anyway, a woman who says her name is Ashley calls the Connecticut State Police to ask about a recent letter her husband got about failing to register “assault weapons” and “high capacity magazines” (those are the State of Connecticut’s terms, not ours).

We have no way to know if that is the truth or only the premise that the caller is using to speak to the Lt. What we do know is that what the Lt. said is definitely not encouraging if not downright disturbing.

On the call, Ashley asks if they police will come to her home and threaten her family if they fail to register their firearms. The Lt. said the State Police would follow any orders they received to enforce laws currently on the books.

The Lt. also calls the caller un-American at one point and also says he doesn’t want to talk about the Constitution.

The caller got a little preachy at the end of the call and got a bit off topic in my opinion, but that doesn’t take away from the Lt’s comments.

The video was posted to Youtube by GMN Telemedia. Here is their channel description,

This is the official YouTube channel of The Guerilla Media Network (GMN), the alternative to the alternative media. GMN broadcasts your favorite shows 24/7 on YouTube LIVE, http://GMN.is and http://Guerillamedianetwork.com

About Pete Santilli:

Pete is Host of The Pete Santilli Show; flagship of Guerilla Media Network and the fast growing national radio show in the USA.

He has been called, “the most vicious advocate for people’s rights…a guy you want on your side….”, and a very vocal critic of corrupt politics and banksterism. Now Pete is the most controversial radio talk show host on the planet. Raw. Real. Revolutionary. The Pete Santilli Show airs on YouTube LIVE every day at 10am-1pm PST, and recorded iTune podcasts can be automatically downloaded.

According to some estimates, there could still be tens of thousands of Connecticut gun owners who have not yet registered firearms that are now considered “assault weapons” as well as magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds.

This has left many gun owners, politicians and commentators wondering what the state’s next move will be.

"You forget their are SO many State Departments."

And in reality every one of them has absolutely no authority to do jack sh!t about anything.

Being that they are all "private contractors" to include the Police, Sheriff, Highway Patrol.

The only "arrest authority" outfit is the US Marshals, and the military.

It would be better to see all those sent that letter, sue the state and charge them with treason.
