Bullying is a part of growing up.
They should keep their hands and laws OFF of our kids.

Is it wrong?

That's kind'a like venial and mortal sin ... it can be really bad ... and ... not so bad.

I was bullied a lot in my lower grades because I was a quiet, geeky/nerdy lookin' kid that never learned to fight or even to defend myself (I'll publically analyze myself another time)

I started fighting back in Junior High ... got my ass kicked more than I kicked ... but I learned.

High school and beyond was basically uneventful ... to this day.

Being bullied pissed me off more than it hurt, and the embarassment of crying in front of girls is ... I don't want to remember.

Suffice it to be true ... bullying is part of growing up ....

especially for the bully that gets some sense later on in life.

Me too, but I got sick of that after awhile and really started to concentrate and fight back. However, after a few fights that I won, it was over and never have hit another person since 7th grade. Growing up is not for the weak for sure. Why can’t people say, “buck up” like they did when we were growing up. We are really raising a bunch of weaklings and I am talking from birth with all the safety precautions we put on children today. Good Lord how did we survive childhood? A broken leg or arm is practically out of the question today.

...Good God, man, you cried in front of girls...?

Suffice it to be true ... bullying is part of growing up

...absolutely it is...in my day, there were dysfunctional greasers who made their bones pushing people around...and this pissed me off no end...but to push back meant never ending retaliation, and my calculated response was to ride it out, and that was right...I was more hurt by my so-called comrades, who could turn on a dime against me, and subject me to torments, but such is the nature of callow youth...

...that cultural engineering is going on by lawgivers to achieve desired social results...well, this has been going on since cavemen decided to pool their efforts in order to distribute the burden of making a living...
