Don’t need to. There’s no one needs shooting. It’s a totally different culture with a totally different history and a totally different form of government. Our crime rate and gunsdeaths numbers would make you wish you had the same as the majority of our gun deaths are suicide and law enforcement related. You need to check the numbers before you jump in with something like that which doesn’t feature in our society. You are being manipulated. No one in Australia is complaining about our gun laws. We can own any number if we have a permit and safe storeage.
Btw, with your attitude, maybe you should just stay where you are.

Because even if you NEEDED to, you still aren’t ABLE to; and you seem to have NO problem with that.

You point to crime as if that’s the only reason... Switzerland has a lower crime rate than ANYWHERE on the planet, and the citizens there are armed to the TEETH, and proud of it. Because to them - as it to us - it’s a point of national pride as a Citizen.

Your National pride is fine. I respect that, truly. Because I have an immense amount of National Pride myself in my Country - a country which, in it’s short 238 year existence - has given more and done more to liberate, rescue, and rebuild other countries than ANY other country in history.

And despite the fact that this current dysfunctional lunatic bin and their political party we currently - and temporarily - have botching things up, my rights are respected and upheld across 44 states out of the 50 in the Union.

You know one of the things people say about Americans is they don't understand or respect the world's cultures, but it works both ways most of the world really don't understand America and don't wish to any more than may Americans wish to understand the theirs. The rudest most borish anti Americans I have every come across on line after the 'Mooselames' and certain Expats are:

1. Canadians
2. Australians
3. People from the western EU

People who are closest allies.

Don't get me wrong I meet a few that were great people, but it's rare to find a non American that truly understands us.

You know, the murder rate in Australia did drop after y'all lost your RKBA...2/10% more than it did here in the USA during the same time period, with no loss of our rights. Meanwhile, Down Under, all other categories of violent crime increased, while they decreased here in The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave:

Like wowsers, Scooby...I bet there are a whole lot of Sheilas down yonder that wish they'd had guns to defend themselves, so they wouldn't have been so deplorably violated, eh?

It depends on who's numbers you check, I guess. I know for a fact that some of your countrymen are complaining about your draconian gun laws, because I've read their articles and seen their videos. But that's y'all's business. I can only say that if they ever try to do to us what they did to you guys, the Second American Revolution will start immediately.
