I was thinking about this yesterday - do you know where the nearest FBI office is in relation to your house? I think most people think the FBI is in Washington, D.C. Well, they have offices all over this country. If you go to search and put in “FBI near (your town)” you will find the one nearest you. They could be at my house in about thirty minutes. What about you?

I have nothing illegal at my house and I don't break the law “as it is right now” so I don't expect the FBI to be interested in an old lady like me. We in Texas are not like Connecticut where they have to register certain firearms right now and millions aren't doing it. I wonder what is going to happen with that, whether or not Eric Holder will enter that state with his justice department. That is a Conn. state law but that doesn't stop Holder when he wants to take over.

The FBI and ATF are only about 10 minutes from my house, just on the other side of I-84. Hell, there's a house four doors down that is supposedly rented out, but I never see anyone coming or going. For all I know, it could be a listening installation, but maybe that's just me being paranoid. The point is, while I, too, have nothing that is illegal at this time in my house, and I'm not doing anything illegal, that doesn't mean I/we/all of us on FReep aren't already being watched.

I think we all need to be on our toes. As the bumper sticker says, "Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean I'm not being followed." These are ominous times, dawgs, and the Gestapo are everywhere. Be safe, and be on your toes.
