The police are not always right (Who is?); but the average Joe, as distinguished from the average libertarian, is far more concerned about being a victim of criminals than the police.
Sorry, poor choice of words. Rather than right lets say corrupt. Ive yet to meet one that wasnt a felon waiting for an opportunity. The more exposure you have to COPs the more you fear for your life.
