There is no problem with calling names. We are allowed to use the language as we see fit. It is the control of the language, the political correctness that has put us in the leftist shackles.

When he correctly described the President as mongrel and then added the multiplier subhuman, he omitted flop eared.

Hyperbole which isn’t quite hyperbole, which treads in the paths of actual infamy (as was pointed out, “subhuman” was a Nazi term and we know how wonderful that turned out) becomes a problem. Calling him a clueless flop eared monster rabbit would be hyperbole. Calling him subhuman drags Nazi spirits out of their grave.

With freedom of speech comes NOT an excuse-all card (this is NOT a blind right wing answer to the race card) but responsibility. If you use it to channel historical ugliness, you have no basis to whine when others use their freedom of speech to highlight that fact. That said, most people think Obama is abominable, and don’t need Ted Nugent in order to get them to think that, but can’t imagine how America could get anything better. There is a way to get something better and it’s called gospel. Can Ted dare to echo heaven rather than hell for a change?
