Obama intends on reducing our military so that it is weak compared to the new army consisting of the DEA, Homeland Security, the Postal Service, the FBI, the IRS and a host of other militarized agencies that are being designed to enslave the free people of America while the military is outnumbered and outgunned and becomes helpless to do anything about it.
In my opinion, he has already formed his “civilian army” that he spoke about before his first election.
Hey, Brother Ted!!! Don’t! Back! Down!

God bless America - I will continue to pray for your great nation.
Obama is a pretty damned strong imitation of the anti-christ. He’s what Nugent said he is and more. He is a scum bag, low life Marxist bastard. And he a bastard in the truest sense of the word.
I accept Mr. Nugent’s apology. Comparing obama to a mongrel is an insult to all mongrels everywhere.
You would be reiterating folly, but go right ahead.
That’s your opinion....most people on FR...not so much!!!
Hyperbole which isn’t quite hyperbole, which treads in the paths of actual infamy (as was pointed out, “subhuman” was a Nazi term and we know how wonderful that turned out) becomes a problem. Calling him a clueless flop eared monster rabbit would be hyperbole. Calling him subhuman drags Nazi spirits out of their grave.
With freedom of speech comes NOT an excuse-all card (this is NOT a blind right wing answer to the race card) but responsibility. If you use it to channel historical ugliness, you have no basis to whine when others use their freedom of speech to highlight that fact. That said, most people think Obama is abominable, and don’t need Ted Nugent in order to get them to think that, but can’t imagine how America could get anything better. There is a way to get something better and it’s called gospel. Can Ted dare to echo heaven rather than hell for a change?
And “most people on FR” is not the moral compass that is owed allegiance. “My gang is bigger than your gang” fails when the second gang has God in it.
Ted has some talents. He could use them more wisely. Nobody says we need to suck up to Obama. He does wonderful when he highlights God, guts, and country. The things that are pluses on the American scene. I would add to that, rednecks.
Oh. I know.
Name calling is cheap and unintelligent
Obama is a lot of things, but no one, is subhuman. To say so presumes a lot about the dignity of the person and the authority of the Creator. Ditto, mongrel.
That nugent thinks so highly of himself that he can take away anyone’s humanity will be apparent, I predict, in his refusal to go away
I don’t know anything about his personal life, I suspect his pride and making up of his own rules based on narcissism, feature prominently
Just imagine any respectable conservative candidate speaking the way he does
And a quick view of the disappointing responses, mob style ‘well, they do it to us’, ‘they started it’ and other such juvenile statements which grow in hatred down the thread
No one needs to be associated with that
Last Sunday’s readings were on Jesus himself saying that if someone strikes you, turn and offer him the other cheek
This guy and his supporters defy that
No candidate with any viability in the conservative arena can play the ‘gods word doesn’t matter’ card. Voters reject that
Anne, you’re onto something.
I believe you come from a Catholic point of view. I come from an evangelical one, but they share more values in common than either side often wishes to think. Modern evangelicals, after all, are “Catholic Protestants.” We don’t see “Orthodox Protestants.” Orthodoxy was not flexible enough to allow that to arise.
Ted got carried away. I think we can cut him some mercy here, because he’s trying to do the right thing even though he stumbled. Now that he has gotten the point, can we move on. Ted is still a formidable voice when it concentrates on the positive things of America, and yes rock is a valid musical style, with a classical history all its own now. Calling that outdated now would be like calling Beethoven outdated now.
Nugent is not about right and wrong, he’s a looking for attention and should steer clear of viable candidates. He calls people names? Who does that? Delinquent seventh graders
He’s idiotic
Greg Abbott needs to lose to Wendy Davis like Texas needs to turn blue. He does not need a controversy He can coast from here. What is this?
Ugh
As if we did not have a third choice, i.e. God?
And the candidates need to be wise, too. They can’t be bringing high profile radioactivity into their campaigns.
OK! You can keep the sermon. I don’t come on this site to be lectured to by you.
Dredging up ancient Nazi connotations is not really applicable here. To make such an assertion one must have a very detailed knowledge of rather obscure notions within the greater horror of Hitlerism.
Until we reclaim the language, we have lost. Goody Two shoes notions are counterproductive.
If you don’t want it, you can always skip it. But God continues to reign. And false dichotomies continue to be false dichotomies. And evading the truth always has the same hellacious consequences. Your move.
Every time godly virtue is shouted down by calling it “Goody Two Shoes” then we all lose.
