My bet is that whats broken is Lubbock Countys budget, and these bastards are not man (or woman as the case may be) enough to tell the people that theyve pi$$ed away all the tax money and now need a new source of revenue. I guess Texas isnt really as different as Texans would like the rest of us to believe. Texas is the Republican Party of the States — living off of a reputation that, even if once deserved, is certainly not deserved now because the reality is pretty much antithetical to the reputation.

I bet that if you dig into this, ATS is offering someone a little cash under the table. That is what they did to get red light cameras in the city of Lubbock. Citizens were upset before the facts came to the surface and became enraged as they learned more about the cameras and successfully lobbied to have them removed. ATS is out pimping their cameras again. Who is being bought this time around?
