Has anyone seen any signs that people in blue states may be turning away from the big government ideology that has controlled these states for so many decades? Any discussions with relatives, neighbors or friends who are Democrats?
I think you’ll see a lot of people just sit out.
when the dead voters return to their graves and stay there before election day.
Seriously, stopping vote fraud should be the NUMBER ONE goal of the GOP. As to why they are not pursuing this
it is indicative of the problems they are having across the board. Simply put, they are flaccid.
When you steal from Peter to pay Paul, you will always have Paul’s support. We have been subsidizing “Paul”’s for years.
Just look for Dem relatives being very quiet. We perform best when they are dejected.
Obama does not keep his word, and thus Obama cannot be trusted, PERIOD.
Obama is a disgrace to the Democrats of America.
No!
Preachers daughter thot obamacare was a good thing and supported it. i.e. Health Insurance for those who don’t have it. but now after seeing the mess she is having second thots. don’t know about how she will vote. i don’t think she voted for obama.
After the last presidential election, I pretty much gave up on this nation ever doing anything great again.
Any loudmouths unusually quiet? :^)
Haven’t met any recently. I try to keep my distance, for my sanity.
However I am starting to think that at least 1 or 2 Red states may turn blue. Arizona? Purple in 2014, deep dark blue in 2016? I am starting to think so.
Dammit 2nddivivisionvet! You took my Idea!
Not in New York City. This city just elected a Sandinista loving mayor.
I know a couple of people who are questioning their status, not as Democrats, but as Obama fans.
One is a small business owner, who I find argues less and less with me LOL and has clearly stated ObamaCare is not good for him.
The other is a hairdresser who I overheard telling a client something like, “Now that I know he lied to us, I am looking back wondering what else he lied about. I’m not sure I trust him anymore.”
Those are the two that stand out.
On a side note, I live in CA and have conservative stickers on my car. About a month ago, when my car was clearly due for a wash someone wrote in the dust with their finger over my stickers: YES.
Anecdotes, but it’s better than nothin’!
Oh Yeah PING!
This suggests a good national theme for the GOP: “Bigger federal government control is not the answer. Just ask the former Soviet Union, Communist China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. Don’t vote Democrat.”
I am behind enemy lines up in the PRM (People’s Republic of Massachusetts) and I don’t really see it.
I believe in the rule of thirds...there are a bunch of hardcore kernel of leftists up here, about a third. They don’t change. It would be like asking Obama or Bill Ayers to change, they aren’t going to do it.
They serve as an anchor. The other two thirds ebb and flow like a tide, maybe it is the fruits of liberalism that causes an ebb in liberalism up here, but it could just as easily be summer vacation or the Winter Olympics.
I just cannot tell.
