Yes, I am ashamed of my Church at times. So now when there is a little envelope at the end of the pews marketing a fundraiser for retired clergy, I will definitely give it more thought.

I must correct that. He should not be in ANY kind of ministry. If he is working in the church, maybe as a janitor, laborer, and prohibited from any area of the church where there are children.

The church says that in July 2006 Rev. Gustafson was declared “disabled” based on his pedophilia. He collects disability checks on top of his salary from the church as a "consultant."

He's not the only lowlife living on disability - probably not even the worst...

Not so surprising.

Once ‘they’ declared drugs and alcohol a disease, it opened the ‘disability doors’ and 20 somethings that had a few pay checks with witholding and declare drunk or drug, are eligible for SSD payments....

We all know that SSD is the further, harder to get rid of, extension of long term unemployment and welfare.

Fine disability - I get sick thinking how long since I was gainfully employed or how long I was drawing welfare so that makes me eligible for Disability Payments...

This is one of the many many reasons I do not belong to any "organized religion". I have many friends who feel the same. All we do is follow His words.

One on one (not thousands) communicating His word is the way I go.
