Really? Shocking news? Didiots. That's what the elite do. Whine about how much the want to help the "poor" and that they understand the "little guy and his plight" and how they can sympathize all the while living the life of the "Rich and Famous". And retired military servicewoman doesn't get it. No surprise there. How many millionaire congress critters and s(nake)enators have been created that came for meager means? Mostly all of them. Kinda like the hildebeast making a bundle on a paltry investment. Not that it can't be done. Sometimes it's not just the blind that can't see.

Is it that Google Maps doesn’t have images of the area, that they didn’t know where he lived (so they couldn’t look it up) or that they don’t know about Google maps over there? Because golf courses and yachts are big enough to be visible on satellite photos.

I noted on the other thread last night... Seeing all the pictures leaves me a bit underwhelmed after that headline. Sure, it’s a nice place and maybe the Roman party barge is a bit much. But in all it’s not really all that over the top. Lots of more ordinary tinpot despots have done better. There’s people in my own town with more gaudy houses than that.

People think it can’t happen here. When there’s a gap that keeps the elite totally removed from the other 90% or so of the population, there can be a breaking point. I wonder how some of these inner cities will fare if just a few things happen to inflame the pent-up frustrations and the idleness of a huge percentage of the population.

No kidding. Have any of these people ever been to Africa? The leaders there routinely live high on the hog while their people are mired in poverty. Find a country where the leaders don’t plunder the people. I doubt there is one.

I dunno, I've found that after the first half-dozen Rolls Royces they just get sort of boring. You keep them like our boy here and you look like a museum operator and the neighbors complain. You put 'em up on blocks in your front yard like I do and the neighbors complain. Some people.

Go to any us federal politician’s house in America and you’ll find comparable opulence. Maybe not as flashy but they’re all getting rich off the people in one way or another.
