Whether Democrat or Republican, do you really want your private tax information leaked with impunity?
On March 9, 2010, around 10 a.m., I announced my plans to run for senate representing Delaware.
Later that same day, my office received a call from a reporter asking about my taxes.
It’s since come out, after a halting and unenthusiastic investigation, that a Delaware Department of Revenue employee named David Smith accessed my records that day at approximately 2 p.m. — out of curiosity, he says.
That these records ended up in the hands of the press is just a coincidence, the IRS claims.

I have a friend who worked at the IRS for a long time. He told me it was cause for immediate firing if IRS employees accessed information of someone who was not a case assigned to them.
Obviously if you’re doing it for political reasons you get a free pass. But I do recall that people who accessed Obama’s passport records were in big trouble.

democrat operatives regularly use their work access to private and sensitive information to get information on their enemies and “leak” it to the press.
This is common.
This is criminal.
The press is eager to lap it up and broadcast it, even if it is private information obtained illegally.
All elections in which a democrat was elected are fraudulent.
What is chilling is the speed of the attack.
She announces at 10 am, then later that day, probably before 5 pm, her file has already been illegally accessed, illegally leaked, and acted upon by the news media. Within probably seven hours!
How is this not an attack?
This was when she announced for the Primary. An O’Donnell win would upset the apple cart - Castle (R) to fill out Biden’s term then retirement for Castle, leaving an opening for Beau Biden.
If this was a Republican accessing the IRS records a prosecutor would have been breathing down his neck for three years by now. So, where are the prosecutors who will take on a criminal Democrat? Let Congress conduct all the hearings they want. It’s the prosecutors threatening jail time that get people’s attention, and offer some hope that this nonsense stops.

She was the butt of many jokes here and I keenly remember those that chastised her because of the erroneously reported tax lien.
So sad we cannot get a true account of anything before the left and the right inflict their brands of punishment on an innocent victim.
The guy who inappropriately accessed Obama’s passport records was shot in the head in his car while parked in front of his church.
He was a contractor for the company headed by John Brennan, the Muslim Obama later appointed to head up the CIA.
Why is she a joke? For conservatives to be calling their own kind a joke because they are somehow “not qualified” is offensive. Any citizen that is not a threat to themselves or others is qualified to serve their country in congress. If the likes of John McCain, Sheila Jackson Lee, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi can serve in congress, hell, why not Christine O’donnell or anyone of us? That’s part of the problem, we rule people out because they don’t already sound, act and look like “Beltway Insiders”.

Then, a month later, the key witness in this case was murdered. Leiutenant (sic) Quarles Harris, Jr., 24, was shot in the head in his car, in front of his church.
We have a totally run away government. The laws, the Constitution and basic common decency are absent at almost all levels of government from 1600 Pa. Ave. to the local animal shelters.

The media pick up the “joke” meme and use it to destroy people. The slightest misstep turns an enemy into a “joke.” See: Ford, Palin, Quayle, Bush, Reagan, et al.
