Jesus Christ would absolutely bake a cake for a gay person. Hed bake a cake for a straight person. Hed bake a cake for a girl, a boy, a person who isnt sure what they are, a black person, a white person Jesus would bake that cake if it, in some way large or small, drew that person closer to Him. . . . .
The disagreement comes on one issue only should a Christian provide goods and services to a gay wedding. Thats it. Were not talking about serving a meal at a restaurant. Were not talking about baking a cake for a birthday party. Were talking about a wedding, which millions of Christians view as a sacrament of the faith and other, mostly Protestant Christians, view as a relationship ordained by God to reflect a holy relationship. . .
You might think Jesus would bake a cake for a gay wedding. I think you are wrong because I dont Christ would collaborate in sin.

Because an assumption has been made about what it’s trying to say.
What it is actually saying is that it is okay to furnish good things to your enemy, but not bad things. Bad things are things that are purposed to further his sin.
This concurs with a freedom of speech standpoint. If you want a blank cake, here Mr. and Mr. Gay you may have it. If you want me to inscribe it to your unholy union, sorry Mr. and Mr. Gay, I refuse.
Really? Is that before or after Jesus says....
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
Except he did not.
But on the topic of a gay marriage, they might want to ask the money changers about how He handles defiling His House.
Most, if they were actually in his presence. Wouldnt be flaunting their sin.
Wow, the chorus of knee jerks here.
Would you want to eat a cake baked by a carpenter? Just askin’.
Why yes, yes there is.
The attempt to redefine Christianity continues unabated.
The better question is, “Would Jesus force someone to bake a cake for a gay person?”
The finest of sawdust?
Would you live in a house built by a baker?
OK, this is silly. The actual bakers who were having problems in the well publicized incidents, were ones who refused to inscribe. They were perfectly willing to be don’t ask, don’t tell about some generic cake. But the homos who created this test case pressed their point to where it was beyond a doubt what they wanted. Here’s where if America still is sane about 1st amendment freedoms, it will affirm them. No, we will not require anybody, contrary to their faith, to cooperate with this stated purpose.
But it is much less so, if at all, by this author than by those who want to yank out the verses about doing good to your enemies.
As to baking a cake to celebrate a gay wedding. Nope wouldn't happen. That would be like accepting the sin.
Jesus is God. The Bible is divinely inspired so...
And the bible itself refutes the point that it contains all details of what God says. John says that he thinks that the world wouldn’t contain enough books to hold this information.
So much knee jerking.
Or built a house for them, but also told them to love their brother in a better way!
You missed it.
Yes, Jesus would bake a cake for money lenders in the temple. Right after he went Old Testament on them.
I don’t profess to know if Jesus would bake a cake for a gay wedding or not, but I find it unlikely he would force someone else to do it.
And indeed the whole saga up to the cross was still OLD testament context. Jesus had to DIE to bring the New Testament.
