Also, newly released former PM Julia Tymoshenko to address or speak at the Independence square where the protests have been going on. (Also gleaned from the streamer on the Ukranian Channel and translated for me.)

I don’t think he will. The bloodshed required to put Yanukovych back in power now - especially now that the Ukrainian Rada has dismissed him as President - would be horrific.

And it would also be met with massive armed resistance from the Ukrainians themselves, who have no desire to become a Russian vassal state. They, like the Czechs before them, want the Russians to **** off back to Russia and stay there.

This is major slap in the face to Putin, and for that, I say, “Well done, Ukraine.”

Putin is Stalin 2.0, nothing more.

Private Zoo, incredible car museum, golf course, and a trail of burned and half-burned documents left behind as Yanukovych fled Kiev.

Russia's Black Sea fleet at Sevastopol in Crimea and the Caspian Sea-west Siberian oil and gas lines under control of the EU?

OUTSTANDING! Screw the pro-Putin oligarchs who terrorized and continued to impoverish the Ukraine.

add pols in the EU and you are complete.

The corrupt pols of the EU were looking a little weak in recent years compared to the corrupt pols here in the US, Putin in Russian and the jihadists in the ME. But with this EU power play in the Ukraine the corrupt pols of the EU are back in the game.

Also understand that just because the EU got their way with the revolution in the Ukraine, doesn't mean that the revolution was entirely theirs.

It wasn't.

"Ukraine parliament just voted Yanukovich out 299 votes, 34 not voting. Parliament members look very happy, watching live. vote said yanuk not there doing his job."

I thought the parliament was 450 members. Did the rest of them flee, too?

Putin is waiting for the Olympics to end before he makes his move(invasion)

I don't think that will happen.

But I do think that the revolutionaries waited until the Olympics started.

Apparently they have fled the country. There were close to 100 flights on charter jets out of Kyiv a couple of days ago, so it looks like they either flew the coop, switched sides, or went into hiding or exile in Russia.

As much as I personally detest the word "pics," which is my problem, not yours, here's the only one I've seen thus far, At first glance, it looks like a veritable museum showcasing the best in east European automotive technology.

Surely others can identify what's visible here better than I can:

This is the third revolution in about ten years. These people really can't handle independence.

They still think Russia is run by Stalin...and Krueschev...and Gorby...and that it's still a communist country.

All I've been hearing lately IN THE PRESS is a lot of stories about "Bad Russia".

It's almost as if Obama owns the media. ;-)
