The Next Last of the Mohicans? [Tea Partiers too Polite?]
American Thinker ^ | February 21, 2014 | Deborah C. Tyler

The revolutionary guerilla network, the Sons of Liberty, was a grassroots reaction to unjust taxation. It got off to a roaring start in 1765 by burning the Boston commissioner of stamps in effigy, and burning his home and offices to the ground. These first Tea Partiers invented American gonzo. Some smeared with paint and sporting feathers, in December of 1773 they dumped the equivalent of $1,000,000 worth of tea into Boston Harbor to protest the British Tea Act. But because the ships were owned by Americans, they were not damaged, and the decks were swept clean when the festivities ended.

The modern Tea Party movement also arose as a reaction to unjust taxation, with CNBC's Rick Santelli's rant on February 19, 2009 against the taxpayer bailout of bad mortgages. He called for a new Tea Party, and the dumping of mortgage derivatives into Lake Michigan. Since 2009, the abuses of government, especially those of the IRS, have worsened far beyond what the Sons of Liberty repudiated. But five years later, there is no tax revolt. Not even a shuffling of bureau-rats at the IRS is on the horizon.

That’s not entirely accurate. I am a member of a tribe (Penobscot) that fought on the American side in the revolutionary war, in fact, we fought at the request of General Washington.

With all due respect, this is not 1773 (Boston Tea Party). Those guys were pissed off and reacting to a few thousand dollars of tax and other minor irritants. We have 48 million people, I repeat 48 MILLION people, who in an instant can be facing starvation or soup lines when their EBT cards are cut off! Then, millions will lose their houses. And, when they are cut off, and lose their houses, they are coming to your house holding whatever weapon they can lay their hands on and, like the Ukraine, a lot of people are going to die including men, women, and children.

So, again respectfully, “the shit IS going to hit the fan”..............it’s just a matter of when. Peter Schiff says BEFORE Obama’s term is up. And, if he doesn’t know, then no mere mortal does!

Obama has armed more tea partiers and tea party sympathizers unintentionally than any other person in history (millions). So, the wise move is to “prepare yourself” and “get ready” because when the fed just can’t pay anymore, and that day Schiff says is very soon, the Amish are going to be on YOUR street killing people while stealing everything they can carry.............cuz they deserve it see! ............. s/

I will concede that point. There was another common denominator, along the lines of the early Jesuits, Bloody Mary of England, et al.
