My family has operated our business from the same small town in northern Italy for 500 years. This means that when we make a commitment to a local community, our hope is to do so for decades, if not centuries, to come.
We apply this same philosophy to all of our factories and locations throughout the world. Such a commitment is not a one-way street, though.
In return for our investment in jobs, facilities and assistance to the local economy, we ask for respect and a supportive business climate.
We deserve such respect. We make the standard sidearm for the U.S. armed forces. We also make firearms that police and consumers use to save their lives and the lives of others.....

and.... if you lie down with dogs, you get fleas.
There is no need to get fleas in Maryland if you can live in Tennessee
Good for them. Now all they need to do is uproot the existing business in the police state of Maryland and move it south too.
...because of these new restrictions and the pattern of harassment aimed at lawful firearm owners we have seen in Maryland over the decades, we decided to expand our facilities in a state that shows more respect for citizens who exercise their Second Amendment rights.
We chose Tennessee for our new facility expansion. Our plans for that location are extensive and long-lasting.
We chose Tennessee because the governor and legislators in that state understand what it means to support businesses...
They don’t care. Progressives, socialist, marxists - whatever you want to call them. They will drive any country into the dirt. They want the ordinary citizen to live in fear of them, kowtowing to them, but they themselves have all the benefits. It makes my blood boil. And I don’t even own a Berrata.
I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, but there is no way I will ever go back to live in that pseudo-communist democratic-party-run swamp.
After reading Ugo’s statement I’m reminded that I’ve always wanted a 9mm Beretta.
Right on, Ugo.
Thanks for making my Friday morning...love it!!
HOORAY....Makes me want to go and buy another 92fs.
After the new plant is built , and up and running..they’ll move everything to Tenn..
FINALLY! A company grows a set. More should leave the Mini-3rd World, Socialist, Crime Ridden, Tax / Slave states and cities run by Liberals and come to the REAL America. Bring your jobs to Texas and the South. Starve those Commies of your tax base and let them implode ala’ Detroit.
I’m sure there is not a single solitary politician or bureaucrat in Maryland that cares if they go, but again good for them.
The Beretta family is a first class group. They care abut and are loyal to their employees.
More people should live this way, how many conservatives watch movies made by ultra-liberals, buy Progressive auto insurance, buy records made by liberals, shop at stores where they know the owners and staff are liberals, buy liberal newspapers, watch MSMBC, CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC.
Yes, forgo watching the those channels, no matter what, stop buying the NYT the Washington comPost, stop supporting liberal companies completely.
As a matter of fact conservatives need to have a national strike, stop working until they repeal Obama(doesn’t)Care....
Even though I am stuck in Maryland, I would buy another Beretta to celebrate, except that (1) I bought more than enough firearms over the two years before Maryland's latest unconstitutional laws passed, and (2) it's way too hard under the new laws and I just don't have the energy to deal with the restrictions.
Mr. Beretta is a better American than Barry Benghazi, Nasty Pelosi, Schmucky Schumer, Joe Munchkin ... and he's Italian.
