These reports should mean that we immediately follow the money. The last shoe bomber made Chertoff a rich man and exposed America to lots of radiation and prying eyes via the full body scanners he sold us, and they didn’t prevent one terrorist. Cynical has now become my middle name, and while the media and government tell us to be very afraid.
Didn't we kind of already know this? Isn't this what Johnny Jihad was trying to do?
I was eating lunch today and this ‘story’ was on one of the TV’s....
I thought it was a rehash as WE all know that shoe bombs can’t be possible because they make ALL of us take our shoes off while checking in. (so I have heard)...
Of course, when you are not allowed to SCREEN the people most likely to be engaged in such activities you must harass the people you can so as to justify the existence of one of the largest agencies on the Government teat.
Maybe we should defund these agencies and hire the Israelis to handle our airlines.
If we can allow Indians to handle our Credit Cards and Cell Phones, just go ahead and outsource TSA and DHS to the Israelis.
Of course their first recommendation will be to remove ALL the Executives and Supervisors with Mid Eastern ties - especially if ANY of them are not citizens or able to pass a full Background Investigation.
Then again, we would probably have to remove some other high ranking Government Officials, BUT security is security.
He wants Syria the way that W. wanted Iraq.
Yeah, yeah. Team Obama is really on the case against terrorism.
Bull crap.
Wag the dog. Divert attention.
Anything but the truth.
I believe this government not.
