To: Alberta's Child

I was taught in the sixth grade by a male teacher, who was a fine guy and knew how to keep the boys in line. This sort of teacher should be encouraged in grade school, where the boys need someone who understands their interests and is a good role model. Married men with kids preferred.

My oldest son’s best year of elementary school was the 5th grade with a male teacher who later became our district's athletic director. All the boys in the typical estrogen alley elementary school wanted into his class.
