Zero has already taken a “hands off” approach. After all, it’s Christians being shot by their government...
As for Putin, he’s playing chess, not checkers.

** Ukraine kicked the Russians out of the Black Sea bases**
Huh?
Better tell that to someone in Sevastopol, you know, the home of the Russian Black sea Fleet.
There is active talk if that area of Ukraine seceding and becoming independent/Dependant on Russia.
The ethnic Russians in that part of Ukraine are referring to the uprising in Kiev as an coup attempt by the US and EU forces.
Orthodox do the sing-song chant thing from time to time.
According to some videos, troops are already on the march. Some are even suspecting that some of the new fighting/sniping from the Berkut is due to the fact that they have brought in fresh troops from elsewhere without local ties.
Makes it a lot easier to pull the trigger when it isn’t your neighbor swanning around in your weapon sights.
You know my friend, I agree with you. I see it in actions of police officers. I have two nephews of my big brother. Both are cops. One is an Alabama State Trooper and the other a street cop with Hoover, outside of Bham. Both are great kids. But now as cops, both have grown very arrogant. The Hoover cop picked me up at the airport once when I had to fly back here to Alabama. He picked me up at the Bham airport and we hit the Interstate. He was on dead 90 MPH down the highway. When I asked him if he was not afraid to get a ticket, he said that no, all he would do was flash his badge. He said none of them gave each other tickets. The Trooper is even more arrogant. He is fairly nice when in a family situation. But, he is otherwise a smart ass, very very arrogant. In uniform he is worse. I have thought about what you just said. I have the opinion if told to shoot down unarmed citizens he very well might do it. He is more worried about his job, his position, his pay check, pension, than anything else. Scary. My brother and his wife are both very good Christians. Both boys were baptized in church. The Hoover cop has two boys and his wife runs that end of their family and they go to church. He works lots of Sundays. But the Trooper never goes to church anymore. He was raised in the church, but now could care less about it. I have often wondered if he were shot, what he would do laying on the ground looking up at the sky. Would he said, LORD help me. Don’t let me die like this. Often wondered.
The Wild Cards are always the ones I wonder about as to what they are doing. One of the wild cards in this case is our _resident and what is he up to. Prayers our Military are on this _resident and know what he is capable of doing. Maybe nsa might have other info and are only sharing with our Military People.
anyways am guessing in the fog.
I believe the only solution is for Ukraine to split up.
Besides much of Western Ukraine was formerly Polish, so they should join Poland in the EU.
The battle will be over who gets the Crimea, that could be the sticky point.

Every time one of these countries goes up, most everyone in the U.S. is quietly thinking, “When does it happen here”?
Some not so quite...
Yes, Ukraine kicked the Russians out after ‘89. There was then a treaty allowing Russian use of the facilities for a finite amount of time.
Like all Soviet Republics, there are enclaves of Russians who demand to be part of Russia; think Sudetan Germans.
Rumor confirmed.
