"...licensed carrying of firearms for self-defense have become the American norm."

Every picture tells a story. This one tells of FREEDOM!
Importantly, the real comparison with gun liberty should be in the declining violent crime rate, often due to criminals giving up on violent crimes due to the substantially increased risk; and the actual decline of the violent criminals themselves, due to bullet holes.
There is tremendous irony in leftists strongly advocating both abortion and euthanasia, yet just as strongly opposing the death penalty, or even substantial prison time, for heinous and aggravated violent criminals.
Gun liberty, however, goes around the perpetual efforts of leftists to preserve the lives and freedom of violent criminals, since no matter how many legal technicalities, soft federal judges and politicians, and the endless finagling of lawyers, there is no appeal when a violent criminal is struck down by a gun wielding citizen.
Yet, from the perspective of honest citizens, gun liberty represents real and timely justice.
Thanks, that is a great graphic. A picture is worth a thousand words and I love every one of them this pic has to say.
It might not be ironic.
Democrats have an unspoken policy of defending and assisting people who are evil - and a strong inclination backed by policy to kill or harm people who are innocent. It's across the board.
Actions speak louder than words...

It’s about power and trust. Gun controllers don’t trust their fellow citizens and want their agents in the gov to have maximum power over the citizenry. They package their propaganda to hide the real purpose/effect of what their laws actually do. Which leads to the “reversing” that you note.
I forgot my sarc tag; not a revelation to me. I was making a statement on the dichotomy: Loud GC rhetoric, huge inroads to owners willingly signing up & being put in the database.
Pretty obvious. CT residents deserve kudos for their response. The CA CC ruling would raise my hackles if I were a resident there...(well, does anyway)
In 1776 it was pretty much ALL Purple.......
Whenever you see an article from Dave Kopel, it's probably worth reading and posting, IMHO.
Thanks to jedge.
Indiana’s been blue a long time.
Just like GOLD...
