If Democrats would wake up and realize what Rep. Trey Gowdy is saying is true, then we can begin to move the ball in the right direction.
Until they do that, grab some popcorn, folks. When people stop being polite and start getting real, weve got some real entertainment on our hands.

“If Democrats would wake up and realize what Rep. Trey Gowdy is saying is true, then we can begin to move the ball in the right direction.”
That should be amended to “If the Republicans would wake up....”
Me too....wish he would run. We need articulate people and he is the best there is. Gowdy-Cruz...what a ticket that would be.
If Nancy Pelosi were a monkey in the zoo, she would be throwing handfuls of her own feces about now. Trey better get ready to duck.
Hey, it works for her with other Democrats for the reason cited below.
The following comments have been attributed to Democrat political operative James Carville (aka Serpenthead, an appellation given him by his own wife). According to the alleged myth-busting website Snopes, owned and operated by a leftist Canadian husband and wife team who have been often caught shading or ignoring altogether information inimical to their leftist agenda, Carville never said this:
(Begin Carville’s alleged statement.)
“Ideologies aren’t all that important. What’s important is psychology.
The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That’s why I became an operative working with Democrats. With Democrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd.
Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats don’t have a clue as to political reality.
What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want.
The voter is basically dumb and lazy. The reason I became a Democratic operative instead of a Republican was because there were more Democrats that didn’t have a clue than there were Republicans.
Truth is relative. Truth is what you can make the voter believe is the truth. If you’re smart enough, truth is what you make the voter think it is. That’s why I’m a Democrat. I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.”
(End of Carville’s alleged statement.)
My point in bringing this to your attention?
Whether Carville said these things or not is completely irrelevant. The fact is that we are living in the midst of an era in which a distressing portion of the Democrat electorate is proving those words accurate beyond any question or doubt.
And that begs the most important questions we will ever ask: Will America the admittedly imperfect IDEA the Founders sought to leave us survive this very dangerous era? And will it survive long enough for some of us to continue improving this fragile experiment in the freest and most productive system in the history of the world or will we allow those whose only goal is to accrete and wield power by any and all means to destroy it and replace it with a system that has failed each and every time it has been attempted?
Each time I deal with this topic, the words of the perspicacious Baltimore journalist back when journalism was still an honorable profession Henry Louis Mencken come to mind: The urge to save humanity is most often a false front for the urge to RULE!
If we fail to correctly answer those questions in the next national elections, God help us.
But then, since we kicked Him to the curb decades ago, why would He?
Looks like we’re on our own and we probably only have one or two more chances to get it right!
whaddya' mean "by now"? every time she opens her mouth, it's splattering spews of the stuff.
Thanks. I’ll check that out later. As I recall it was a refreshing dose of sanity.
She is a blithering moron. Too bad more people don’t call her out.
“... a few minor complications ‘’’”
Excellent post. Carville’s alleged quote really identifies the key to just about any totalitarian regime gaining power in the past 200 years or more. That, and Mencken’s quote appearing in another good post in this thread.
Thank you. Feel free to repost and/or send to any libtards in your orbit. It’s guaranteed to make their heads explode!
And that’s a good thing!!
