Whenever some lib drone brings them up, I just ask what do they think of Soros.
All of them run off, or try to act like they don’t know who he is.

The funny thing is on most issues they agree with the Koch brothers. They are rabidly pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, and pro-taxes.

So who occupies the 58 spots ahead of the Evil Koch Bros? Six of the top 10 are ... wait for it ... unions. They gave more than $278 million, with most of it going to Democrats. These are familiar names: AFSCME ($60.6 million), NEA ($53.5 million), IBEW ($44.4 million), UAW ($41.6 million), Carpenters & Joiners ($39.2 million) and SEIU ($38.3 million). Where's that old sh*t Larry King... maybe he should read this... AND every staff member at the New York Times...

I was surprised that George Soros didn’t rate a mention in the article. I wonder where he falls on the list.

"...ask what do they think of Soros. All of them run off, or try to act like they dont know who he is." You will get the same response mentioning the Tides Foundation, MoveOn, Emily's list, Annenburg Foundation and all the rest. The point of mentioning Koch Brothers comes from Saul Alinsky who taught radicals to create an enemy to rally people against.

In Minnestoopid I have heard libs praise Soros and his corrupting activities.

They said it themselves. Also see #12.

And the Koch’s earned their money. Union donations are kickbacks from taxpayer funded “stimulus.”

Okay, so you admit they are for those things, but just not rabidly so. I won’t argue you the degree, but do these guys seem like shrinking violets?
To: nickcarraway
A better list would be:
Who do people spend time thinking about?
For me, “the Koch brothers” are at the very bottom of the list.
I’ve only known about “the Koch brothers” when liberals talk about them. Given this, and their positions on the topics you mention, I think the Koch brothers are closet liberals whose purpose is to create an enemy for the liberals to get mad about. Somebody to counter the image of George Soros.
