It wouldn’t quite be All-Star Weekend without Charles Barkley interviewing President Barack Obama.
The NBA Hall of Famer sat down with Obama as part of TNT’s coverage of the big game, which airs Sunday night. Barkley is an analyst for the network’s “Inside the NBA” show and a big reason why the program is the top-rated show in its genre.
Barkley’s become known for his ‘real-talk’ analysis of players, teams and games that have made him a favorite among hoops fans and media members alike. Obama is a big fan of the NBA and a former player himself.
Barkley is on record as a “big Obama supporter.” It’s unclear if his interview will cover topics beyond basketball.

He will likely have a cool appearance and by “cool” I mean that as a positive way. That is a problem the GOP faces in 2016 and beyond because the Dem candidate will have advantages in the pop media circuit and too many people collect information based on exterior factors.
I wonder who’s going to “interview” the idiot for the Daytona 500. I wish FOX would pay him NOT to do an interview.

Hey, We had a hoop in our driveway when I was a kid, so I’m a former player as well. Me and my friends played wiffle ball in the street, so I can be mentioned in the same breath as MLB players.
I was a pretty good HS football player back when Fred Biletnikoff was a great wide receiver for the Raiders, so I can say “when I played football Fred Biletnikoff was winning superbowls”.
Why? What a waste of time and money just to hear more lies and BS.

Barkley is about as much a “conservative” as is Colin Powell. Some quotes...
Barkley: “Every time I hear the word ‘conservative,’ it makes me sick to my stomach, because they’re really just fake Christians, as I call them. That’s all they are. ... I think they want to be judge and jury. Like, I’m for gay marriage. It’s none of my business if gay people want to get married. I’m pro-choice. And I think these Christians, first of all, they’re not supposed to judge other people. But they’re the most hypocritical judge of people we have in the country. They act like they’re Christians. At least Charles Barkley earned his millions in the dreaded private sector. Unlike Jug Ears and Moochie who have been eternally sucking off the taxpayers and liberal universities. Though I must admit that Jug Ears has made some millions off his Bill Ayers authored books which were private sector efforts
