A few years ago we wondered about all this wall and immigration business.

First, we went to Arizona and drove as near to the border as we could get from Gillette to Nogales. It is mile after mile of pretty much nothing. For much of the way there is barbwire. There could be a wall, but real law enforcement with lots of officers and punishment would be much better.

Another year, we drove down the Rio Grande from Presidio Texas to Brownsville. Part of that is Big Bend and you can’t to close to the river. The thought of a wall along the river is ludicrous.

“Secure the border first”?

Good luck with that.
