Its funny. I had never heard of Alinsky, so when suddenly we were talking about him I thought, how can he be a big deal if no one has ever heard of him?

Then I remember one evening Beck (on Fox) ran a long series of video clips of big name Democrats, one right after another, expressing their adulation of the man. It really surprised me. I had never heard of him (prior to the rise of Obama) but all of them were outspoken admirers.

Yeah, he's doing a great job at it.

The educrats have been softening up the ground for someone just like him for generations now.

The anesthetized electorate was ripe for the picking.

I always say he is a fraud. His schtick is to be the sane middle ground between two straw men.

I haven’t watched him since he shafted the Swift Boat guys.

Similar to McCain, he is always on your side until you need him. Similar to McCain, he has that big bluff loudmouth Uncle Harry persona that people take for conservatism, but like McCain he is a fraud from the word go.

He suggests that Obama seems to be tracking with the left wing of the Swedish Socialist Party.

That would be the hot chick he did the "selfie" with at Mandela's funeral, that POed the Wookie so much.

Well, what if the President is a Marxist?

Then he is opposed to reason, reality, objective values, and rationality, and supports the destruction of traditional American objective values of individual natural rights, freedom, and limited government, and the economic system that is compatible with those values which is capitalism

Most Democrats are these days anyways.

Marxism is a great horse to ride for totalitarians. It has that easy 'we'll give you all you've ever wanted for nothing ' bullsh*t that appeals to the greedy and lazy - and human.

Problem is Marxism's a lie.

Obamacare isn't the same as good health care. Lies aren't the same as truth. Thugs aren't the same as representatives. Marxism's not freedom.

When Marxists are totally ensconced in power they'll kill their own first... all those shills who know too much - and might talk...

Democrats 'in the know might be in for the ride of their life... a ride they richly deserve.

We still have a chance, but for how long??

Our best hope is some members of the press are waking up... who knows if it'll be enough... I have my doubts.

O'Reilly was already slyly positioning the leftist Hillary as a "centrist" the other night.

BOR is a statist/socialist/populist....all glossed over with a charming leprechaun smile.

Obama meteoric conquest of the White House started in the Ayers/Dohrn’s living room, the infamous Marxist terrorists founders of the Weather Underground group in the 1960’s.

OBAMA, AYERS, DOHRN AND THE INTERNAL MARXIST TERRORISM

A MURDER REVISITED

By John Perazzo

FrontPageMagazine.com | 3/13/2009

http://archive.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=34351

Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn are currently hailed by the Left as “respected” university professors—Ayers in the University of Illinois’ education department, and Dohrn at Northwestern University’s School of Law.

In the mid-1990s, both were instrumental in helping to launch 34-year-old Barack Obama’s political career in Chicago. Ayers in particular would go on to cultivate a close working relationship with Obama, serving as a fellow board member at the Woods Fund of Chicago and appointing Obama to chair the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which funneled money to a host of far-left causes such as ACORN and an organization run by Communist Party leader Mike Klonsky.

On Thursday, March 12, the National Press Club hosted an event where several key speakers urged federal authorities to reopen an investigation into the role that Ayers and Dohrn—both of whom are former leaders of the notorious terror group Weather Underground—may have played in the February 16, 1970 murder of Sergeant Brian McDonnell at Park Station police headquarters in San Francisco.

To put this story more fully in perspective, some further background about Ayers and Dohrn is in order. Their Weather Underground emerged in 1969 as “Weatherman,” a Communist-driven splinter faction of Students for a Democratic Society. Characterizing Weatherman as “an American Red Army,” Ayers summed up the organization’s ideology as follows:

“Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.”
Ayers and Dohrn spent the 1970s as fugitives running from the FBI. In 1974 they co-authored—along with Jeff Jones and Celia Sojourn—a book titled Prairie Fire: The Politics of Revolutionary Anti-Imperialism. The title was an allusion to Mao Zedong’s observation that “a single spark can start a prairie fire.” Dedicated to a bevy of violent, America-hating revolutionaries, including Sirhan Sirhan (assassin of Robert F. Kennedy), this book contained the following statements:

“We are a guerrilla organization. We are communist women and men ... deeply affected by the historic events of our time in the struggle against U.S. imperialism.”
“Our intention is to disrupt the empire, to incapacitate it, to put pressure on the cracks, to make it hard to carry out its bloody functioning against the people of the world, to join the world struggle, to attack from the inside.”

“The only path to the final defeat of imperialism and the building of socialism is revolutionary war.”

All told, Ayers and Weatherman were responsible for 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S. “I don’t regret setting bombs,” said Ayers in 2001, “I feel we didn’t do enough.”

In Fugitive Days, Ayers reflects on whether or not he might use bombs against the U.S. in the future: “I can’t imagine entirely dismissing the possibility,” he writes.

Brian McDonnell was another casualty of the violence practiced by Ayers, Dohrn, and their comrades. Hopefully a measure of justice can finally be delivered to those responsible for his death. And if that happens, maybe someone in the media will have the backbone to ask Barack Obama why he chose to hitch his political star to people like Ayers and Dohrn.

"His (O'Reilly's) schtick is to be the sane middle ground between two straw men".

This is the best description of BOR I've seen. It's him....perfectly.

Notice how, in his fits of moral equivalency, he always equates the extremist left with the "far right" (meaning you and me and the Tea Party).

Pay attention.....he does this ALL the time. Of course, as you posted, he positions himself right in the middle between these two "extremes" as a self-identified "independent".

He's a sly, tricky, arrogant, self-promoter of his own brand of ideology, i.e., playing all sides against his middle.

This weasel is of NO VALUE at all to the ideals and RESPONSIBILITIES of our country's founding and foundations . He displays NO political core values or framework of any kind except fast shuffles which he thinks will enhance his TV ratings.

But he has that Irish wit and charm...and he's stylishly clothed every night. And he crows about being "fair and balanced". But it's what's inside the package that is so patently tainted.

He is seeking to bring Marxist socialism to America, but not by employing the brutal methods of the Soviet-era KGB, yet. Should his incremental approach fail, though, all bets will be off.

Added for clarity.
