Famed former CNN host Larry King said he has never heard of Juanita Broaddrick Thursday in an interview with Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV.
Broadrrick, a former Arkansas nursing home worker, accused President Clinton of raping her during the late 1970s in a 1998 Dateline interview.
Malzberg was describing a double standard of media coverage during the 2012 conventions, noting left wing pundits dubbed the GOP convention a convention of rapists while remaining silent on President Clintons keynote address despite sexual assault allegations directed against the former president.
King interjected Hold up, hold up. Stop! Bill Clinton was accused of rape? Malzberg reacted incredulously, telling King his obliviousness was revealing considering Kings prior work in the mainstream media.
The former CNN host doubled down and asked Malzberg to start spreading the name Juanita Broaddrick around and see how many correct answers you get as to who is Juanita Broaddrick.

Hey Larry “You might wanna put some ice on that”
Thanks Nachum.
Hmmm.. sounds like he is just playing us all for fools.
Better put some ice on that.
Did he not hear of Linda Tripp who kept Monica Lewinsky alive throughout the bimbo eruption Hillary would have ENDED had Tripp not advised Monica to keep the blue dress?
Monica would be in a shallow grave if not for Linda.
And for the dress she saved...
He’s a liar. I distinctly remember when that old goat Don Imus put him up to asking Slick Bill about her during an interview, at which point Slick got visibly ticked off.
We certainly didn’t see any “I believe you Juannita” bumper stickers like we did during the Clarence Thomas hearings that said “I believe you Anita”
I dont think it was rape-rape
I’m starting to understand how Larry King never saw any bias...

When the Broadderick allegations were starting to get some press in 1998, USA Today editorialized that even if the rape allegations were true, that Clinton’s high job approval should mitigate the crime.
Al Gore’s comment when asked about the allegations was “people make mistakes”.
Bombing of Yugoslavia began immediately.

I’m sure USA Today and Al Gore would have said the same thing about George Bush if there had been a credible rape charge against him. Furthermore, groups like CNN and the New York Times would have covered a credible rape charge against George Bush the same too ... there’s NO bias at CNN or the New York Times./s
I forgot all about Larry King till I saw this thread.
Maybe when Monica grows up more she'll understand Linda Tripp saved her life, her reputation and her mother's reputation. Monica and her mother were going to be smeared with being mentally ill... and that would have just been the start.
If more 'journalists' had been like Larry King earlier in our history we'd already be living under a dictatorship.
Larry King and his types are fools...idiots... shame of a once proud profession.
