Silence is compliance and approval. That means, the REPe never mention the lost job reality, thus, since they don’t, they are ok with it. Cruz is the only one plus a handful of real conservatives (Americans, real men) who DON’T approve of this.

The government doesn’t make jobs, it breaks jobs.

The states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend on behalf of the unemployed. So MSNBC really needs to whine that Congress needs to comply with the Constitution's Article V and do the following.

Article V requires Congress to propose an appropriate amendment to the Constitution which, if the states chose to ratify such an amendment, would grant Congress the specific power that it needs to tax and spend for the unemployed.

Doesn’t MSNBC have some new racist jokes to tweet instead of pretending to be a news outlet?

Why is anyone bothering to post stuff from MSetc any more? That is like posting something you found hand written on a placard that was face down in the street with tread marks on it.

I will say that the republicans sure know how to fight on wrong issues. They pass a “clean” debt increase but piss off everyone without a job. “Paying” for unemployment saves a small percentage of a penny. I know it’s Reid who refuses to allow a vote. But if the republicans are so afraid of a fight over the debt limit why would they not be afraid of this? Do they think the media will not report it in the democrats’ favor?

Nevermind the fact that it was obama, the democrats and obamacare that made them unemployed and then told them to celebrate it because it is “freedom” when they go bankrupt...

…extending federal unemployment benefits for the long-term jobless didn’t make the list."

I guess it would be racist to point out why there are so many long-term unemployed...
