MARINETTE - Lori Saunier is one of nearly a dozen parents who have expressed their displeasure over a game played at Marinette Middle School.
This kind of stuff, I mean, this cant happen again. These are our little kids. Were parents. We shouldve been protecting them. You shouldve gave us the benefit of the doubt of contacting us, said Saunier, mother of 7th grade student.
On Wednesday, fifth through eighth grade students played the game called Cross the Line.
Parents say their children were asked personal questions like, do your parents drink and has anyone in your family been in jail?
Students were also asked to step forward if they answered yes to any of the questions.
Neither the school principal nor the district superintendent would answer questions on camera, but in a written statement, the principal said participation was not required and students could have said no.
However, parents claim their students told them that if they didnt participate, theyd receive an in-school suspension.

I’m assuming this is a public school. What with such indoctrination centers trying to push the faggot agenda, the baby murdering agenda, the nanny state agenda, etc, I can’t imagine why public schools even exist anymore.
Oh, boy. Wait till they see her with her glass.
What state?
And did the teachers take notes?
Liberal a$$holes call things a ‘game’ to hide their true intentions.
Maybe it was a warm up for a more advanced game: “Truth or Dare.”
They get on me wanna know Hank why do you drink?
Hank, why do you roll smoke?
Why must you live out the songs that you wrote?
Over and over everybody made my prediction
so if i get stoned
I’m just carryin’ on an old family tradition.
Isn't this a form of intimidation and bullying when an authority figure, like a teacher, indicates they want a student to do something but tells them they don't really have to (wink, wink)?
Didn't the courts say this voluntary participation technique was not legal in the case of voluntary school prayer?
You got that right. By the conduct set forth in the article they have become little spy centers. The administration and teachers involved should be removed from office.
Sounds like the fruits of common core to me....
Wisconsin and I don’t know.
Another test - America is just one big hot-air trial balloon festival these days.
In a setting such as school or work where the person in authority says “we’re going to play a game”, you play, whether or not they say it’s required. What are those who “opt out” supposed to do? Sit in their seats quietly and just watch?
the only family things that were said were, “your mother.....” fill in the blank....
and your job was to be more outrageous than the next guy but none of it was serious discussion....and rightfully so.
Fools in charge.
Removed by who?
Parents? they don’t control the schools any more.
“Students were also asked to step forward if the answered
yes to any of the questions”
Did they then take them out back and put a blue plastic
bag over their heads?
“and the kids could have said no.” Right. Sure. Little Johnny telling big fat teacher with three chins, stinking of liberalism, “no Mr. Fatbelly, I am not going to answer that.” Boy, if this had happened back in my school days, my fire cat of a mother would have been at the school and beaten this teacher within an inch of her life for asking those kind of questions. What a family does in their home is no business of the school. Yes, yes, of course, when a child has been abused, a teacher sees the results, calling in some kind of check the situation is right. But to ask what does daddy watch on TV. Does mommy drink booze or smoke pot. Those are illegal questions. Even a cop cannot ask a kid those kind of questions to get in the door.
