The latest warmist theory is that warming has "paused" because the wind is pushing the warm water below the surface. Perhaps the warmists will scuba dive to find the warm water in Lake Superior.

I actually chilled my beer in Lake Superior in late August. This warm water being pushed below by winds is a crock. More sophistry by the global warming cult to try to make their fallacious theory fit the actual data.

I think the warmist theory was for the oceans, especially the Pacific. As others have pointed out, it's crap.

lakes “flip” - once in the spring and once in the fall - having to do with the epilimnia and hypolimnia and water/temp density - Cold water is on top in the winter - warmer is below at the thermocline...in the spring - warmer comes back to the top - quite dramatically as whole lakes become very turbid for a period - I know this because fishing for trout obligates a knowledge of this
