I have had the same thoughts regarding her for a long time. Megyn Kelly ripped her a new one some months back and she deserved it, but I guess her “conversion process” is having it’s effect, because she’s becoming a lot less pedantic and more introspective in recent weeks. It must be gut wrenching to find out that all the progressive $hit you thought was true, isn’t, and your “black savior” isn’t a “savior” but a lying black devil who’s out to destroy your country. Becoming a person of faith has that effect on most people. It’s just too bad they are few and far between.
A teams name NECCASSARILY has a POSITIVE connotation, therefore the term “Redskins” CANNOT have been a slur.
Perhaps Tom Cole would be wise to look up the actual meaning of the name "Oklahoma" before agitating to change the name "Redskins".

I’ve been to every tribe in Oklahoma and their lives are so 3rd world.
The BIA isn’t even a joke. It’s an inhumane beauracrapy .
The hospitals are in deplorable conditions
The BIA doesn’t help these people. They manage.them on their fabulous reservations.
It’s now been 3 generations and only the Cherokee have found a way to adapt, built amazing businesses that keep idle hands busy, instill pride and profit the tribe in general.
Their drug and alcohol problems have dropped and they are a proud nation that is vibrant and productive.
If you really want to do something help the tribes of Oklahoma raise themselves up. Help them develop leaders Like Wilma Mankiller

“Washington Redskins” is a well known brand name so just from a financial view you would not want to change it. Same as Coca-Cola would resist being forced to change their name. You spend years building up brand name recognition.

I went to the U of North Dakota. We tried to tell these racist bastards the same thing about the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. It did not work. The racist bastards still took away the name. To this day, UND does not have a nickname. I hate racist bastards.

Colored people is considered racist but people of color is considered OK. That’s like saying “salt shaker” is offensive but “shaker of salt” is not. Shouldn’t that group change its name to the National Assoc. for the Advancement of People of Color, NAAPOC?...

You remind me of a college team out west who changed their name to “Fighting Whiteys” as a form of protest against Indian team names. They even had team shirts made up “Everything’s going to be all white”

My search skills are aweful, but there was a story about a college professor who got in trouble (fired maybe?) for pointing out that the phrase “people of color” was not correct usage and should be “colored people.”
Darned if I can find the story now.
