We adopted a Portie before the breed became fashionable—Lost him to spleen cancer last year.
They are intelligent, but we never let him drive.

What makes that sentence really funny is that Kennedy had a Water Dog.

Pomeranians are so cute. They say the Chihuahua is the smallest dog, but I think Poms have to be a close second. These puppies look like pits, they are in different shapes and sizes. One is small, has a ginger coat with a black muzzle, looks like she'll have ears like a Chihuahua - just adorable. One is big, has long legs, buff colored. One is short, tubby, buff colored. One is brown with a black ribbon down it's back, long droopy ears, long muzzle, short, fat legs...looks like I don't know what...basset hound-dauchund(sp?) - he's the funniest looking of them. They have Pit faces with big sad Chihuahua puppy eyes.

The Bloodhound and the Corgi were our favorites too. I figured that would pick the waterdog because of sucking up to Bo obama.

You are right dogs do pick up on subtle clues. The minute I shut my laptop my dogs know it is time to “go to bed”. Even before I get up out of my chair, they have started to the bedroom.

I was watching the show with a couple of girlfriends and when the waterdog won one said “That judge is a Democrat!” :) I loved the Bloodhound but am happy with the winner that they chose... lots of personality in that little body. I’m just glad that it wasn’t the Poodle.

I was glad it wasn’t the poodle too. I know poodles are good dogs but the people who think that poodle haircut is cool have got to be insane. I always feel sorry for the poodle who has to run around looking like that.

I watched the working dogs this morning, which is the only group I really like to see. It made me furious that I can’t even tune into a dog show without seeing the Obama name on my screen.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwww so adorable, you should post the photos I would love to see the cuties. I’ll post photos of our pups if I knew how to post photos here(Ive done it before but I keep on forgetting) Nemo is 9 pounds and Maxie is 13 pounds, both always hungry begging for food..Some Pomeranian’s have a personality like they want to bite but not Nemo, he is super friendly, but if you get in his way he will give you a growl(Especially if your messing with his food :-)

Maybe he should have let it drive that night.
