KIRSTEN POWERS: Well, I think his explanation is probably the true explanation, that they need to do this, but at the same time, it's now gotten to the point where it seems like there's an exemption made for pretty much everybody except for individuals. A lot of people who have really been screwed over by the law, you know, who are left without insurance or with extremely expensive insurance. So, I think that Ron Fournier of The National Journal wrote something that ran today about --

Anyone who foisted this disaster on the American people deserves zero sympathy.
...and I am sick of Kirsten Powers.
Any woman who would date Anthony Weiner...well, ‘nuff said.
I really like Kirsten Powers. Didn’t know she dated Weiner. Oh well.
As for Obamacare everything has to be delayed until after the next election cycles. Still everyone gets screwed in the end.
Getting screwed in the end is a gay thang, you wouldn't understand...
Kirsten is just a commentator, but she’s also pretty smart, smart enough to realize there’s a bigger percentage in sounding reasonable than in sounding like the female version of Jay Carney.
To paraphrase W.C.Field’s comment about women: “Kirsten Powers is like an elephant. I like looking at ‘em but I wouldn’t want to own one.”

It’s getting pretty lonely for Rep. Anthony Weiner: Even an ex who initially defended him now says the serial sexter should step down.
Kirsten Powers, who dated the congressman about 10 years ago, wrote a scathing column for the Daily Beast Wednesday, ripping Weiner and maintaining that she, too, had been a victim of his lies.
“I had been defending him based on what he told me, but no more,” the 42-year-old wrote Wednesday. “Weiner must resign from Congress immediately.”
Powers, a Fox News political analyst, initially went on a media blitz to back her former flame. When asked if Weiner should resign, she had said no.
“You know, it’s between him and his wife. This really does not have anything to do with his official capacity. He has not broken any laws. And he’s apologetic,” she told Fox host Greta Van Susteren Monday.
But in her column, she attests that Weiner wrote her an email insisting he was innocent before his public confession, admitting he sent sexually-explicit images via Twitter.
“He knew I was going on the show ‘Hannity’, where I would use this false information to defend him in front of millions of people. I did, and I regret it,” she wrote, referring to the Fox program hoted by Sean Hannity.
The two dated for three months after meeting at a post-campaign party during the 2002 New York gubernatorial race. She said they maintained their friendship.
But as new details surface, like the tawdry exchanges between Weiner has his web gal pals, Powers is now describing him as a “predator trolling the Internet for women.”
“Congressman Weiner has fallen far short of even the low standard to which we generally hold our elected officials. It’s time for him to go,” she wrote.
Don’t defend him. Come over from the dark side.
Well then don’t Kirsten.
You are a smart gal.
She has her inner conservative screaming to get out.
I couldn’t stand her back in 2008, but I’ve got to admit she has matured in her thinking.
She actually makes sense a lot of times.
She is becoming more and more conservative the older she gets.
She’s a poster child for sell out demoncats on meds. She offers nothing. Surprised she’s on fox.
FU Powers. You’d be the first one complaining about the conditions of cattle cars heading east but you’d still be happy to load them up.
Powers admitted one day that she’s conflicted because she’s an Evangelical Christian and a liberal. She’s having a hard time reconciling many of her liberal beliefs.
“Powers admitted one day that shes conflicted because shes an Evangelical Christian and a liberal. Shes having a hard time reconciling many of her liberal beliefs.”
The light may come on for her one day. I know more than a few people who have come over from the dark side. Some of them make better conservatives than life long ones because they can be more grounded from their conversion process.
I agree wholeheartedly. The Apostle Paul and Ronald Wilson Reagan come to mind...
The only good lookng and smart liberal out there and not one photo?
Who wants to look at another ugly mind?
