video run time = 00:00:31 seconds
In OCT 2005, George Takei, aged 68, revealed during an interview in an issue of Frontiers magazine that he was homosexual and had been in a committed relationship with his partner, Brad Altman, for 18 years.
When Takei came out in 2005, Howard Sterns radio show was part of his media tour. While most post-coming out interviews with Takei were safe and polite, Stern asked the same kind of rude and intrusive questions hes known for asking heterosexual celebrities. Takei discussed his life with an openness and an ability to take Sterns ribbing. The interview was a frank discussion of homosexuality on a show with an audience that doesnt seek to learn about homosexual experiences. He stated that his 1st homosexual experience occurred at a scout summer camp in the late 1940s. Sterns audience reacted so positively to the interview that Takei was invited to be a part of Sterns new satellite radio show when it debuted in 2006.
This exposure on Howard Stern's show brought Takei new celebrity status, and he has used it to promote the homosexual agenda. On 6/24/2013 he joined Ohio mom, lesbian, and former Cub Scout den leader, Jennifer Tyrrell, to ride together in a GLAAD/Scoutsforall car at the 43rd Annual LGBT Pride March in NYC.
On 8/08/2013 Takei signed an online petition to move the 2014 Winter Olympics from Sochi, Russia, to Vancouver, Canada. The petition, started by the organization Equality For All, proposed Vancouver as an alternative to Sochi in light of Russias increasingly oppressive treatment of homosexuals, both legally and culturally. Discrimination in any form is a blight upon the Winter Olympics, and it must not be tolerated, wrote Takei on his blog. Russias cynical and deplorable actions against the LGBT community have given license to hate groups within its borders to act with violence and impunity against a group, based solely on whom they were born to love.
On 10/18/2013 Takei, aged 76, spoke at a National Press Club luncheon in Washtington D.C. for 40 minutes about equality for the LGBT community where he said: I love young people, especially young, straight couples. Theyre going to be making the gay babies of tomorrow.
I wonder if he's discussed his DEATH with openness and an ability to withstand GOD's judgement?
